Concur...

In this instance a 'witty' name is not useful as we wany people to understand what exactly it is!!!

any response to the idea that each stage of the foundry process

1. map ideas
2. in between stage
3. final forge

should have its own subforum?

It seems like the main forum is more suited to random foundry postings and tutorials etc...whilst the subforums are well suited for official foundry business.

the additional benefit of doing it this way is that you're not going to have people posting random threads in the subforums that actually belong in the discussion section. whereas if you do it the manner you have proposed there will most definitely be threads created that do not belong there. perhaps a minor inconvenience, but an inconvenience nonetheless.

I think we'll see how much of an inconvenience it is first. I want our main focus to remain maps in development. Not that discussion isn't more important, I just think it is better for people to see maps fairly well along when they first enter, rather than our chatter.

Edbeard, Coleman sums up the main reason. We think there may be even less map feedback if each had it's own sub-forum...so for now lets try this. We can always come back to the suggestion later...we'll have many more Foundry Feedbacks.

In regards to the forum...anyone have a good name? If not...we can just call it 'Foundry Discussion'. :)
