The revamp is slightly better than the original, but it still doesn't have enough contrast for my colourblind eyes. And I've always disliked the palette. Classic is played more than any other map. It should be at least as beautiful as the South America map IMHO 8)

this is true despite the brirghter circles this was an improvement and the issue is not a colour blind one wiki its a colours clashing one so the colour blind setting doesn't really help.

Agreed.

well if the map had been the way the revamp was for the life of CC and we suddenly switched it to the current version, we would've had just as many complaints.

Either way, we should focus on getting something that works for everybody. not too bright, but easy to read.

of course, i htink the new one is better- but could use adjustment.

It is definitely NOT horrible. people are just resistant to change.

Do we know who is doing the 'touch up'?

[Oh, and is it worth merging all of the Classic Revamp threads in the Foundry discussion into 1, or locking the others?]

I must say that i dont respect these. What hepend with open Rewamp competition topic? You will have again problem, when you update map right in game and to no ask nobody"what you think of these changes"
He will give mine full respect if he show here, and open topic with Classic rewamp, and ask others people what think of hes job.
Its look that these person not respect others map authors, because all rewamp dont have same status like these map.
If you thinks that its ok,that some unknown person(except for mod squad)change things, and nobody can give hes comment, then its no point of giving any sugestion to person who dont want to reply to other person.

The foundry isn't really driving this request. gimil is running block for your complaints but he really doesn't have to. This could be happening with no discussion at all.

Other revamps, and touch-ups will go a bit more like you are used to, but it is a bit different for the original maps. I have no say in how this is going either so no complaining to me about voicing this.

Coleman - I'm not sure that Qwert is going to understand your slang.
