Now that I'm not going to be the target of the giant fit thrown by most of the player base if we do that...

Sure. :D

No I did, you were hijacking the Germany topic with this a bit and I thought it was interesting enough to be its own topic. I was about to send you a pm but this works I guess...

I might actually want to run this, but the current Classic would need to be an option for voters.

The Classic option would win for sure, because the "Yes" vote would be split between the other maps. We would need to compare the "Classic" option in the poll to the sum of the votes for possible revamps.

Under what I'm saying the current map would need to win 2:1 to cancel the revamp.

gimil would be more likely to run this though, and I doubt he'd agree with me on having the original map there anyway.

Classic is a map that is greatly loved by the community both how it plays and looks.

You would really need to tug hard to get a revamp, although an idea of having a classic map that represents teh visuals of the board game may be a good idea. (If there was enough support gathered)

What's wrong with the current classic map? Does it really call for a revamp? What could the revamp do to benefit the map and the players that the current map currently can't already provide?

I think with this discussion the map foundry is starting to prove it's getting a little revamp crazy.

Generally there is a number of colorblind issues with the current classic map, also there is trivial things such as army circles covering names etc.

On another note can people please stop posting there versions of "revamps" in threads, there not adding to discussion and bogging down threads.
