Speed freestyle games would BARELY ever get going, as you'd have to hope someone near your rank is online. And 8 man games would be a pain to get started.

Let's say I'm a cadet, so I'll set up a game in which the only ranks allowed are cooks through privates, how do you think a high ranking player is going to target me?

A simple game setting when a game is being set up where one can set the lowest rank they will allow to join the game. Not only is it really annoying for a higher rank to lose 50-100 points to a low rank, but I have found that often times when I play a cook or something similar the game just isn't enjoyable even if I win it (and gain 5 points).
Of course there are exceptions to that rule and there could be an option to not rank filter the game as well.
There are times I want to play a 1v1 speed but won't because I don't want to lose a million points, but even more importantly, I want to play a higher rank because its usually more enjoyable from a strategy standpoint.
This really isn't a hard thing to do from a programming standpoint.
