Whatever happened to larger team games?

They finally figured out how to make 12 player games. Possibly a bad thing since it can take a pretty long time to fill them.

So why are team games limited to doubles, triples and quad?

What about 5 vs 5 and 6vs6?

If we get bigger team games, we're gonna need more Feudal maps to compensate properly.
