My only complaint thus far is the scoreboard and the way it is set-up.
My idea:
The best way to grow this site is to give people something to shoot for. While the current scoreboard is fun, it is unfair and not an accurate representation of the top players.
I often create my own games, and play against random people. I also often play against friends in private games. My friends aren't as good, making the games easily winnable, and thus boosting my point totals.
How can we fix it?
Seperate the two!
I think that Conquer Club should add a new interface for joining games, making it RANDOM teammates. Let us, the user, select the game options we want, and then have the system match us with 5 other people who want the same thing. Leave the option to create private games, as we will still want to play with our friends.
Now make a separate scoreboard that just logs the score for the RANDOM games, and you will have a much more accurate representation of the top players. Make a second scoreboard that keeps track of EVERYTHING, random, private and tournament games. Thus making it the best of both worlds.
You could even still allow users the ability to create games to play with random people, just don't count those games toward the new scoreboard and instead count it toward the all inclusive scoreboard.
It would also be nice if you could keep track of wins and losses as well somewhere in our profile.
