E-mail notification

Postby JAndersen on Thu Jan 11, 2007 4:38 am

I looked through the to-do list without finding this, so here it is:

What about notification by email whenever it's your turn to move, not just when a new game starts? Of course, it should be something you could turn on and off as you like, and it should only send an email the first time it's your turn after you logged off, not 10 e-mails if it becomes your turn in 10 seperate games between logins.

I know it would save me quite a few unneccesary logins, and following disappointments.

What do you think?

These are not email notifiers, but they should work just as well.

The best desktop notifier is fantius "Tell Me When"

The Google Home page add on is a waste of space - albeit clever. Kevininc's could have been great but he developed it then stopped. All I wanted was something in the tray that shows how many games to play and Fantius's does that.

The conquertell notifier is also excellent.
