that means more loose from the part of the attacker...if you limited the distribution that means more possibilities that gets "tie" and when that happens the denfeder wins. A lot of people will complain more with this lol

random dice solution?

I've got an idea
allow game maker to start games with a 10x option
all territories and sets and bonus would start at 10 times basic value

it would do away with going 0x6 on an 8x6 attack and similar maddening outcomes
it might make high rankers less reluctant to player the lower ranks

might be best to limit this to 1x1 games

as far as i can tell the only difference would be fewer extreme results

I think must be one of the only suggestions to make the dice less random. You will need a lot of support and a lot of good reasons to support this idea. If this suggestion does not pick up any support it will just slide away into the darkness of archived suggestions.

Concise description:
Get ride of dice system or make it more fair.

Specifics/Details:
Create a fairer system of roles.

How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
This will create a fairer game, and a more enjoyable game.

Basically I've created this topic because I am fed of of pathetic roles. Today, i was about to win a game, i lost 9v2, then i started next turn, lost 7v2, then lost 6v2, then lost 5v3,an then same 3 i lost again next round 5v3. And the result of that was me loosing that game, which he had 1 land left. I find this totally unfair. Also the other day some body auto his 10 against my 14, and I lost 0 men but he lost all of us. It's just not fair at all, and to be honest I've wasted like 3 years of my life on this game to still be a luitenant, and the only reason why im so slow for 3 years is because of pathetic roles.

u know whats gonna be said about this thread. I think the dice are more average and less prone to streaks. try assault instead of auto assault.

Tried it all, and sometimes, i gotta be quick, so gotta auto then, but still not work. Just annoying, constantly.

assault or auto-assault. It makes no difference. The dice are completely random.

Yes, but assault means you can stop if you hit a bad run. Using auto-assault is usually a bad idea.

Right. Because previous rolls affect the next roll? Did you know that last week's winning lottery numbers are just as likely to come up again as any other combination?

Sorry, this particular illogic really bugs me. I get that you may have lost enough men that stopping makes sense from a global perspective, but just because you lost 6 out of 6 doesn't mean you're more or less likely to lose #7.

But that's not what drunkmonkey was saying. His point, as you seemed to have grasped (but ignored), was that if you start off 20 vs. 10 and end up at 7 v 6, it may not make sense to keep on attacking, since the odds of victory at the given point are less than the initial odds of winning.

you say the dice are random, but when i lost 20 v 2 and then my opponent (in the same game) wins 3 v 2..i just dont understand how thats random
also losing 7 v 1 has lost me 3 matches....are you sure the dice is random?

Even though they advertise randomness and profit from it the drops and dice and turn order are manipulated. It's the only explanation for the shit I see.

You are right goldstrike. They aren't random. I've been doing stats for years.

Factors that make your dice better:

1. Go premium - I've seen that premiums have much better dice
2. Be a high ranker - Definitely helps. Lack has a soft spot for people with high ranks
3. Be a mod - They say they are volunteers, but we all know they're paid in 6s

And I'm sorry that this website has a personal vendetta against you. It happened to me once...but as soon as I got premium and highly ranked...I got much better dice.

I constantly lose ridiculous one sided assaults all of the time. I have lost like this constantly. And why would these things be randomized anyways? If a true army of 1000 men attacked one of 200 would the 200 randomly defeat them? No, because this isn't Braveheart or some shitty movie with Russell Crowe. More troops = more killing. Not "occasionally get your ass kicked", as your help text puts it. It would be one thing if it were occasionally but my rank can prove that it isn't. I am definitely not that bad of a player. This has to get sorted out cause $25 isn't a lot of money but the frustration is endless.

Ok I just lost 3 straight rolls in and 8 > 2 matchup. Fix the damn dice system. This shit isn't worth paying for at this point.
