tournament options for 2nd place

I believe you could make a simple option tick box style that would allow a person upon setting up a tourney ... where you have two people advancing to the next round ... to have the option to allow the person who comes in second place to not lose points upon his advancement ... I think that would be a good option or even have several options in the area of points ... just a thought cause I'm butt hurt and didnt realize that I would be losing points for comming in second
