new players dont play

Postby hmatyas on Sun Nov 12, 2006 8:41 am

Hi all,

I love to play sequintal games. Couple of days I've became some of newbie that just log and dont play, and make the games very-very long :(
What do you think of the this idea: after a hundred games the creators of the game could say that only experienced ( only in game numbers not in points) could join into the games. What do you think of this idea?

When sy creates a game and allow everybody to join to the game if they have completed or started 10 games..

Could it be possible?

I think, that the creator of a game could kick anyone who stay away more than 24 hours!!!
Because I know it, that games could take more than 12 days!!!

That's already been suggested and rejected... numerous times.

We should at least have a system that allows for just blocking privates mabye. For the most part, if your above private you usually dont miss alot of turns and take the game seriously.

If you have the option to block out privates, then people like me, who keep dropping back to private (yeah, I know, I suck!) will be excluded, and I've never deadbeated in my life, and have played over 200 games (woo hoo)

i know of a certain person who is dropping out 1 or 2 turns, and then makes a sudden appearance..

thats even more annoying then just 3 turns deadbeating.

it might however be an idea to drop everybody after missing 3 turns, for whatever reasons and not necceceraly back to back. 3 turns missed in a game is 72 hours. thats way more then i would like them to last..

Hi,

I dont want to be block privates :) I just want to have a select option on the game creating pagem to block those who hasnt played at least 10 games, or more. Possibly not everybody will use this feature....

Could you agree with this ?

SirSebstar: Yes, I've seen this tactics at some play of mine.. that could be very frustrating..

yup, I would agree with that. See my post about a newbies section, I think that would work too.
