Penalty too harsh for timing out on turn

[Ultimight]

I was in the middle of a turn and then got stuck on a phone call after I cashed some cards from wiping out an opponent. It resulted in 1) me not getting to continue my planned assaults (understandable and fair) 2) not getting a card (not sure why you have that rule, but whatever...) 3) a loss of the armies I just cashed in for before I could place them (aren't the other two penalties already enough!???)

Pretty lame imho, you should at least get to keep and place your armies in the next round if you've already cashed in.

Lesson learned though, next time, the phone call can wait!

You should have:

a) not cashed in the cards until after the phone call
b) at least placed the armies while taking the phone call
c) not taken the phone call
d) played your turn while taking the phone call

and then after that you should go complain someone who cares.

Yeah I think its a shame when armies or cards are lost in this game.

I know one time during a real time game I was taking a player out- he arrived and cashed his set but I eliminated him before he could place the armies, so they were forever lost to both of us.
