auto tournament first turn stuck

So I have been playing in 2 big 1vs1 autotournaments, marathon cup, and map masters.

Somewhere there is a bug that makes some people go first most of the time, and others go second most of the time.

Me personally

Last 3 rounds of marathon cup, opponents has gone first 21 in 27 games. Map Masters the whole tournament my opponents has gone first 25 of 33 games.

So in the last 2 months, I have only had 14 of 50 allowing me to have the first turn. This is a 1 in 1200 odds of happening.

You cant tell me this is random,

I have seen others complaining about the same thing which makes me think there has to be a bug somewhere making this so lopsided.

You are only taking into account tournament games ? You also played a lot of non-tournament games I think, so you 1 over 1200 isn't really true is it ?

It has been reported to admin already, unless there’s is a massive reporting from players, tweaking and try to even out the start turn randomness has been put on a low priority list so far. (I’m talking about Auto Tournament only)

Please don’t think this has gone deaf hear, just it may take longer than few of you expect to perhaps being rework.

Again, this is out of my control and it has been brought to webmaster, remember while you get this statistic for you someone is getting the opposit and will probably never come here to complain, therefore building a case against this unfair situation is tough...sorry mate, let's hope the other half of the tournament you will have the opposite odd.

I have experienced this too many times and have even addressed it to BigWham when it happened in a FINALS for a Tournament against him where I went first in 1/5 games.... Just started a new Round of a different Tournament today(10/2/19) and am going first in 0/5 games!!!

Is it really that hard to make it automatically give players a 2/5--3/5 EVEN split (as even as you can get) on going first ( or 4/7---3/7, depending on how many games obviously) in auto Tournaments???

BigWham's response to when I suggested it... "there have been proposals for this but people did not like them"... and "there are many many things that could be done, that get increasingly complex, but i found that, surprisingly, there wasnt the apptite for it".

I'd put money on it that if you polled the players the majority would be voting for this change.... just read all of the game chat from that game I made the proposal to BigWham and see I mentioned to him how I was in a different Tournament at the time and had gone first in 3/15 games I played in it so far. 3 out of 15??? THAT is just stupid.

have gone first in 6 of last 25 games (1v1) in the Tournament I mentioned above where I started a new round going first in 0/5 games. And you can't really say that this will "balance out" because I have consistently been going first in 1/3 games in the "Map Masters" Tournaments too.

Note* This is ALL without joining any other type of 1v1 games...

2 out of 3 games.... OMG!!
4 out of 9 games... balancing out?
1 out of 5 games.... NOPE!
1 out of 5 games... (FINALS)

= 10 out last 30... after 8 out of 30 and 6/25 =... 24 out of 85...

building a case for this isn't tough if you put some time into looking into the problem... If anyone is getting the opposite affect why would they complain about it? If I could show you multiple players that have gone first in 61/85 recent games would that really make a difference? Why is is so hard to just program it to be FAIR instead of "random"

I've started 13 more 1v1 games that were not part of an auto Tournament since my last post and I've gone first in 2 of them, so there is absolutely no "balancing out" for this shit and this IS a problem that NEEDS to be fixed.

If you join an auto Tournament where you are guaranteed to play 21 games (7 per round for 3 rounds) there is no good reason that a player should only get to go first in less then 30% of the games (6/21) and not finding a way to make it SOMEWHAT even is just pure laziness and a careless way to treat members.

Would be nice to have the search engine upgraded. Pretty annoying to search for games... look at a game... then go back to search engine only to be forced to put in all the info again in order to make the same search you just did.

OMFG how did I not think of this. I've probably spent close to 100 hours going back and forth through Tournament games of mine where I needed to look at the logs for the special rules/point system I had in some of them and this could've saved more than half that time I bet lol

Both CCU and Circus maximus I was able to go first in 1 of three games.

So if you are keeping track I went first 3 games out of the last 15 games in map masters.

Honestly I am about to give up in this tournament. It is no fun playing when you dont have a chance in hell of winning.

It is safe to say I have went first in less than 25% of the games in this tournament.

When you are playing against good players, you wont win many series with starts like that.
