I'm offended by your avatar.

Congrats, t-o-m.

congratulations t-o-m also for continuing to work on his madagascar map which is in final forge despite being forum banned.. maybe if it is quenched, this will be an apology for trollish behaviour and get him unbanned?

Certainly, continuing his work in the Madagascar map is a demonstation of goodwill. I think it would be very nice to correpond him in exchange for that nice contribution.

Congrats t-o-m =D>

[not an official position] If the admin were to lift his perma ban, then it wouldn't be a perma ban, would it? Also, what kind of example would that set for other people? "Let's all act out, because even if we get banned, if we get enough people to bitch at the admin for us, they will remove our ban just like they did for t-o-m." Who would follow the rules then? What would the incentive be? [/not an official position] That being said, I doubt it will happen.

Hypotethically speaking, it would depend on the reason why the ban was lifted. i.e., if the ban was lifted because he made a map, it would be a precedent very difficult to follow by others. I find difficult to imagine someone saying "let's behave in a not very well way and then do a map so my ban is lifted".

And about it being a permanent or not, permanent means it does not expire unless someone lifts it. Doesn't it?

per·ma·nent /ˈpɜrmənənt/ [pur-muh-nuhnt]
–adjective
1. existing perpetually; everlasting, esp. without significant change.

Seems to me that it means never ending...
