Sorry for my absence everyone, the holidays were more active for me due to breaks in my work schedule, but then those ended, and I had more work. I didn’t initially support the case on doom, though his skimming on the Poliwag’s/Charmander’s glowing eyes was noted. His actions since the few votes have piled on have made me think he’s scummy otherwise. I did not like Legion’s OMGUS vote on Doom, and that’s what it was because his reasoning seemed crappy to me. He voted with this shaky reasoning before any of Doom’s scummy posting, and so seems suspect to me (FOS Legion). To reiterate, the FOS is for his vote, it’s not in defense of Doom, who within the last page made himself seem a lot more scummy to me. The only role that I could see being a jester role would be Mr. Mime, which if he was present I would expect Ash’s mother to be as well (the only one that ever showed up was hers, they’re rare from what I remember). The roles I would predict for bomb would be Voltorb and it’s evolution line (we already had one of those knocked out in the night, so I don’t see the other one being present). I’m not really expecting Mr. Mime to be in the game, so the possibility of a jester doesn’t scare me away from putting a vote on Doom eventually. I don’t know Mandy’s modding style, and it would seem too easy of a role to manipulate in a game that feels this non-standard, to me at least. My vote will go to Doom, but there’s no deadline yet, and he’s already at L3, so I will hold my vote for a little bit. Since the idea of a bomb/jester just came up, I would rather hear some thoughts on that from a few people before I just go off my assumption that those roles aren’t in the game and end up voting him, to a bad result. I mentioned earlier that Doom’s play felt off to me, so perhaps there is something amiss that I am looking over due to my earlier suspicion and his new persona sounding like stuff MewTwo would say (the whole owned Pokemon are slaves mention).

Well people I asked to respond havent really responded in full but I can't afford to really delay any more. I made my point about Tal, it's not really a scum tell but his lack of reaction indicates he is not surprised by Dakky's reveal. Sam has gone inactive.

The Doom case itself is boring to me. It's like a follow the cop case where fhe cop can't even confirm he got scum as his result. That said Doom's overblown reaction feels forced to me. I could see him being upset over this based on being a wp because it would be getting lynched on a technicality but the fact that he's made his comments while acting in character and all just makes it feel fake.

I'd really still like to hear a legitimate answer from Tal and Sam but:

I just don't think Jester makes sense in this game. Like newguy said, voltorb is already dead and the only other exploding Pokémon I can think of is koffing. Having a scum Jester doesn't make sense win condition-wise. And even if he does blow up after a lynch, we'd be trading one town for one scum which is a good deal. Mr mime could work as a Jester, but who's Pokémon would he be? He couldn't be wild because he's not one of the established types of wild Pokémon.
