Suspicion should not press so hard upon your mind
Since it is apparent to all of us by now
That all black-lettered votes Kwanton doth ignore.
Paint your votes in red, or bother not with them.

we have a problem with posts,
but who should fear our boasts?
While rhyming is hard,
none of us are the Bard
so hurry before the mod makes us all toast.

I don't mind poems, I won't deny
I'm a fairly poetic guy
Here, I'll read a verse or two
And there, I'll read another few
With poetry, I won't be shy

But when it comes to writing, I
would rather stay away -- or die!
But still, what I have said is true:
I don't mind poems.

So for this post I'll wave goodbye
But first, I'll Vote the Fircoal guy
The vote is red, it is not blue
Unlike the color of your shoe
Forcing rhymes will make you cry
I don't mind poems

Who yet again have chosen to stand here,
In the way of peace, honor and success
Of Town and townies, poets all of us
Who toil to do justice to our style
Which is why you had to read thus far for me
To at last inject some reason in this post.
For among the poems writ' above this one
One is standing out, making me see red
Red like this: I vote Talapus,
Writer of quatrains. You remember what
He did the last time when he wrote like that.
Lets hang him now, what do you guys say?

Oh mandy, no love for me because you think I have something to hide,
when really it's just the PM from the mod I must abide.
These quatrains I am using here are of a different pattern,
And when you see that I'm sure you'll think I'm on the poet's side.

I realize in our last game I burned you bad,
but lets be real your evidence of my towness was very sad.
But here we play again with new roles and poems,
so a shot at redemption for you can be had.

But don't cast a vote with such haste,
for a talent like mine is a shame to waste! :D
With much time and all players still alive,
your assumptions can be more paced.

For now though thats all I had,
No one stands out as secretly bad.
I I depart and leave you all,
and I know that will make you very sad!

The first poets game I did not play
so I know not the forms of poetry.
I would assume they would be harder
than what Sully is trying to portray.
I figure scum should be smarter
but given the rhymes, that one is lacking.
I would think haikus were too easy nay,
but don't know if the form is scummy enough for me.

I am depraved of sleep at this late hour,
But my mind is now cheered by Sully's song,
Boogie in a haiku brings into my mind
Picture of Inca's Yankee-Doodle Bard. :)

Suspicion Day 1

Halt! For I have returned today,
Much aplogies for my silence before,
Was merely absence and nothing more.
But here I am now to have my say.

The lack of posts leave me in much dismay,
Much waffle and joking leaves my eyes sore.
I am well aware this is ConquerClub lore;
Though t'is time for us to pave the way.

Safari's suspiscion I do share
Victor Sullivan's use of Haiku's.
And whether his form remains to be true.
T'is not much, but at such early a stage,
I tempt fate and go out on a hair.
Vote Victor Sully for it is all the rage.

My finger will wag, I must say,
Unecessary haiku's are a waste of words
Therefore I will FoS my friend Sully
For being unproductive, and for acting absurd

There once was a man named sens,
whose idea was wrong at both ends.
Cause what's it to you,
if Sully must haiku?
we should look for one who pretends.

Can we assume that
Mafia does not have a

And look for errors
In rhyming patterns? Or do
They have PRs, too?

It seems that day one as always is tough
Difficult to tell who we should accuse
And how to separate the innocent stuff?
Who here promotes villainy not virtues?
With suspicion provoked, Ill-will accrues
Towards scum, mafia, talentless boors
Who believe themselves able to confuse
The town. Mandy, your lines seem to be fours
Yet this post? Thirteen! unvote, vote mandy, of course!

exile could be leading us into a plot
but he brings up a very good point, does he not?
I am intrigued by this large mishap
mandy may be faking, or just have forgot

so errors have been made, large ones indeed
but do we so carlessly need to vote those who do error?
maybe scum slipped-up, or is it just part of the role?
mandy, oh mandy, sit on the chair

and prove your innocence
or if not the town
will do send you
to the gallows of the crown.

and to got tonkaed, why blame me
i was pointing out a waste of haiku's
but now i admit, mandy's case is much larger
so I ask to the town, what's this mystery to you?

(hehe I'm not going to be a stickler if it's an honest mistake so you don't have to worry sens. As long as it's clear you are trying to conform with the post restriction a mistake isn't gonna get you modkilled lol. Also, if you have to edit or add to a post or have a question or concern for me you may write in prose (non-rhyme) as long as you write it in parantheses. This post is an example)

Oh how I have despaired when this post had caught
My eye! For measuring metrics is so much easier
When one measures the width of a goal or the height
Of a fast growing child. "Ye fool!", I addressed myself,
"How hard can it be to measure the lines the don't even
rhyme!" However, browsing over Wikipedia (the source of knowledge!)
I found the the poems of this type have in time
Been treated so freely that, in time, this custom
"led to general metrical looseness in the hands of less skilled users".
Well, dear Poets and foul Critics, I bear news to you!
I am a less skilled user as my poems show,
So to your well based accusatories I say: :P !

Ah the perils of being a bard
my form usually requires iambic tetrameter
but skill is not on my side
and marking the rhythm is quite hard
so for the musically inclined I apologize
for my posts may not be in the correct pronunciation
but the rhyming format is still on par
though the flow may be a bit off sir!

Now you rhyme in 12! For goodness' sake!
I kindly ask a role-claim from you
Just to be sure that you do not fake.

He's being lazy's what he's saying
His poetry comes after playing
He's taking liberties with verse
And stretching the boundaries of his curse
The ends of which are often fraying.

Now he on his back is laying
His lines sound like a horse's neighing
I'm not a fan of lines adverse
Or poems written so perverse
He's being lazy

Perhaps Mandy deserves a flaying
Or maybe we should just keep praying
that he won't make us require a nurse.
Unvote vote Mandy before they get any worse
Perhaps he is involved in slaying?
He's being lazy...

Submarining is no art
but a start point for day one.
With chatter at an all time low
not talking makes scum smart.
and mandy is experienced, this isn't his first show.
unvote vote mandy
