Despite losing 4 of the 7 maps, the Panthers picked up the 69-63 win by fighting hard in their losses, including a 13-round battle between star point guards. In the end, Pittsburgh won their maps in an average 7.7 rounds, while Houston needed 8.8 rounds per map. That slight edge in shooting percentage gave coach themuss11 just enough points to advance.

I was surprised by the final score when I added them up, as well, and checked each map again only to get the same result. Just one of the those hard-fought battles that could have gone either way. The star play was basically neutralized in this matchup because that map was such an even battle and the start player for each of you, so both got up quite a few shots. You ended up with only a four-point edge on the star point-guard spot.
I expected the Final Four matchups to be tight, and yours is proving me right so far. Good tourney though sportsgod.
