I wonder why imperialpower missed those rounds...they had a real chance at winning.

Draw has been made and groups posted on the first page. I'll go make the games now and invites will follow ASAP.

Don't forget the change in strategy for this round:

5 man classic-seq-esq-unlimited-no fog. Top 3 progress from each group. with 3 out of 5 progressing I think this will throw up some interesting tactics and be a fun round.

2nd round is now underway. All games have been created and PM's sent with passwords. Again you have 3 days maximum as of now, to join up or be replaced by a reserve / eliminated.

The final few games last round held us all up a bit so I would appreciate it if everyone can join up ASAP and get some momentum back into this tourney.

OK ALL.

Following the recent developments concerning the "classic map" a few players have pm'd me their concerns over the horrible current classic map and I have to agree!

I have canceled the R2 games as sent out. None of the games had started so I feel this is fair at this stage.

I will now PM every player still in the tournament to vote for a map of their choice (the settings will remain the same as posted) or you can opt for a random map. You have 3 days from now to respond or your voting opportunity will be voided.

Your vote is by secret ballot so please reply to me in a pm, however if you choose to you can also post it in the tourney thread if you want to try and drum up support for a map for any reason but only the map sent to me by pm will be counted.

In the case of a draw on multiple map choices I will submit it to random.org to decide between the maps in question.

If the majority decide on a randomised map choice then I will do so through random.org on all maps this will include classic.

Apologies for the inconvenience all but it seems the only way forward now.

I will post the final totals just for the record and so everyone is comfortable with the process.

stilll waiting on 6 more votes. You have until 5.30 ish on Friday GMT to cast your vote or the decision will be made on votes cast.

It is a blind ballot but I will reveal the full results after the decision is made so its all above board.

Currently 1 map is leading with 3 votes, there are 4 more maps on 2 votes apiece !!!! so YOUR vote really will count. In the event of a tiebreak I will run it through random.org.

Sorry for the slight delay guys n gals but I think we are all agreed this was a fair and neccessary step in light of recent developments.

Normal service shall resume soon, please do not adjust your TV sets.

Kletka did not join in time so he has been eliminated from the tourney. The remaining 4 players will battle it our with the top 3 going through and only 1 more to be eliminated from their group.

Congratulations to DimnjacarStef for winning over HighlanderAttack in a fiercely fought final fight.

The game went 2-2 after both held home advantage and forced it to a sudden death tie break.

I will pm DimnjacarStef with details on how to collect his PRIZE =D>

Thanks for all who played in my first tourney, it was great fun !!!!!!
