Was there any particular reason for the change. Did I miss something somewere. Still stoked on this tourny just not a huge fan of freestyle. Will we have the chance to vote to change it for the finals just like the cards.
Fair point. I did initially intend that the games be sequential. However I basically screwed up making the games and people were joining and nobody pointed it out until after some games had started so it would have been uneven to remake some. I checked the first post quickly though I don't think it actually says whether they would be sequential or freestyle. And I convinced myself that freestyle is a little more good model of "go-go", unregulated sub prime lending.
But we can definitely to a vote (it will probably be only by PM to the 8 who make the finals for obvious reasons) on all settings for the final game... only thing that is fixed is that the map will be US Senate.
And by way of an update, the "D" bracket has finished all of their first round games. Setting the standard for irresponsible lending is astompel, who lost a whopping 141 points, followed with a somewhat more responsible set of underwriting guidelines were dimmeat (-77) and nick11 (-34). Setting the standard for borrowing more cash than (perhaps) their "homes" are worth, danodukebb has walked away with a nice +164 for a couple of nice condos he plans to flip in Chicago and NYC. Hand of blue also managed to finance a nice property in San Francisco for +88, but we're thinking that is probably within his ability to repay so a Senate bailout for him is, we think, probably unlikely but we'll see...
