Chrisley Knows Best

So I don't really watch TV and am out of the loop. But I was staying in a hotel this weekend and I saw Chrisley Knows Best on BRAVO.

Who are these people and how did they get a TV show? It's like this guy, Todd Chrisley, who is this Southern real estate agent and they just follow around him and his family. But he never actually sells a house or appears to do any work.

I have seen a few partial episodes of that show. I'm fairly sure it was also when we were staying in a hotel, somewhere in the United States. So that means it was probably 2019 or prior.

It couldn't have been on YouTube because, on every clip on there I get a plain black screen, with this message,

I thought it was entertaining but I agree, several things about it seemed rather odd.

TV is really grasping at straws nowadays. There's that one about the ugly fat broad and her repulsive baby, who apparently is going around the talk show circuit now telling people she doesn't want to be known as a repulsive baby any more.

Read much of the article in that link and didn't have much empathy. Found some pictures and I do now.

You call he mom "the ugly fat broad" and defending that is tough. I feel sad for the daughter, people are talking about her weight and that's going to just make things worse. She seemed to be pretty strong during the interview, going by the tone of article, but I suspect it's mostly defense.

I hope she does ok. Being a teenager is difficult to begin with. Everyone thinking the know you as something you want to out grow must be worse.

I would agree and add that most of what is on TV today is not worth watching. That is one reason I spend my free time here on CC...!

tbh, even 5 years ago or longer, I rarely watch TV. The summers are when I usually have more free time. The summer of 2021 (now that it is basically over for me with the start of school) I hardly watched much TV, other than the delayed Olympics.
