BTW… your report isn’t even accurate.

1) They announced the crew that will fly “around” the moon not land on it.

2) There is always a backup crew in case someone gets sick or fails a test.

3) The full compliment of Astronauts training for the upcoming moon missions is “diverse”…
which is fine so long as they are qualified.

4) I don’t think NASA is gonna rubber stamp an unqualified candidate.

5) The compliment of Astronauts training for various missions includes white men… so you can chill.

6) Racist fucks like yourself need to understand that just because they may give some weight to having diversity within the Astronaut pool does not mean they are selecting unqualified people. You might benefit by understanding how numbers and statistics work… and thinking about how many people apply for these jobs and how many are qualified.

7) Physiologically there is some evidence to suggest that woman might make better astronauts than men. In general their bodies handle stress associated with High G better. This is a generalization obviously (like all generalizations) you will find plenty of men who can also handle High G.

The president never gets to pick people at NASA.

John F Kennedy tried to check an astronaut diversity box but was denied. They just couldn't muster the courage until 20 years later in 1983.

Back in the 1960s if a black lady was best for a job at NASA, they still had to hide her in a back room, so the general public would not see her doing math better than everyone else.

They didn't talk much about the white ladies coding computers either, but they had some of those too.

Here's the guy that should have been the first american astronaut of color.
