hmmmmm i don't think they have worldclass pedigree to be honest Dazler.. i think you have bought the overpriced, also-rans who the big clubs no longer want.
What you need is a true world class player to advertise your wears (Kaka, Ronaldo, Messi) .. as with all your money, tales of Arabian billions and oil riches coming out of your arse, with all your promises of breaking world-record signings... you still can not attract the top tier of footballing royalty to train in drizzle in the the arse-end of Manchester.

(heheh god, i enjoyed that ;) )

Jimbob you bastard, you've never let on who you support. anyway we have to splash the cash to try and entice the greedy to get to the Champions League and then grab Messi and Kaka(friends off Tevez and Robinho). it's a long term plan Jimbob and anyone in the top-flight would have all of them 4 in their side.

I wish you well Dazler, i truly do! you have a hell of a challenge but a multi-billion pound consortium never hurts!
.. You do have a real problem with location though (no smart-arsery intended) even the red side, with all its fame and reputation, have difficulty getting the true greats, in particular those from South America, to go from the warmth and lure of Southern Europe.

Your only other problem?.. hmm though Sparky has a good brain and a certain aura of control, i am still not convinced he has what it takes to challenge at the highest level. And i have not witnessed a genuine footballing philosophy to enable him to pick the lock on any major trophy cabinet.. domestic or otherwise.

Dont tell me you suppport the worst club of all........

tottenham!

I swear, their fans are so deluded. Every year their one aim is to finish above Arsenal. Dont they realise, we dont care much about tottenham the club, just making their fans eat their bullshit words. Every year they are gonna get a top 4 place, and every year they is "The Year." Well have they not realised that "The Year" has never come, no matter how many people predict it.

Im looking forward to another ealy Spurs day this year.

heheh ... what can ya do! My brother is an Arsenal man (due to my father) but he did the off before i was aware of the lure of football so i was 'lumbered' with me ma's team! ;)
Some may think that was a stroke of fortune.. but any one who thinks it was all glory and celebration does not remember the Jesper Olsen years!

Olsen was class! You might mean the Mike Duxbury years, or even worse, the Atkinson age. Big Ron led us to straight 13 victories in first 13 league matches one year, 'pool still won bleeding league though

I mention Jesper as i remember him fondly and little Gordon too ... in a time of no return for pretty football (and a whole team i always remember positively) they summed up the also ran nature of the team.
Atkinson is, was and always will be a twat.

Huh? Mowbray plays attacking football, gives people freedom and gets relative success out of it. You seem to be suggesting that he is negative :s

thanks Sam for Kolo Toure, he'll fit in nicely into our defence. he's fast and can bring the ball out off defence, something that Dunney can't do to well recently.
