Counting Costa Rica as part of North Am, I have the score 0-2-2. Mexico (tied Poland, 0-0 score) and USA (1-1 with Wales) have ties, Canada loses 0-1 to Belgium and Costa Rica lost 0-7 to Spain. And yes, USA has only goal for North Am, so far.

I think we are at a point where it's wise to not be too confident. If betting was allowed in my country, I'd have tried my lock by betting on some underdogs. I wouldn't bet on USA against England though.

ALL Americans? Do you mean ConfedSS and who else? I was commenting on ConfedSS 's lack of geopolitical nuances as they relate to International Futbol (FIFA World Cup) and geography. And I am the one telling ConfedSS that Denmark, via Greenland, SHOULD NOT count toward North America standings. So again, ralph does not know what he discusses, and/or purposefully misleads others.

I would not bet the USA Men's Team to do that well in this World Cup, AGAIN.

The USA Women do much better, but that does not get the attention, money, or promotions that the Men's World Cup does.

First, ConfedSS is bringing in Politics into this thread. At the RISK of going there TOO deeply, I will say:

1) Why must one country be good only at ONE sport? The USA has American Football and Basketball, in addition to Baseball.

2) The USA Mexican border was NOT great before President Biden came into Office. There were already many ILLEGAL crossing there. Biden has chosen to IGNORE the issue and his VP Kamala, whom he appointed to deal with it, has largely ignored it, too.

Apparently, ConfedSS has forgotten the plan to "fix" the Border by President Reagan a while back.

It was such a battle when they met in World Cup 1998. This one should be even more intense because it's a fight for a progress to the next round. In 1998, their match was the second one played and their chances were too slim, and it was still a battle overshadowed by politics.
