Arsenal 0
Man Shitty 0

What a load of sh*te! Heaps of chances squandered by both sides. Nasty shoulder discolation too. Poor lad was in tears.

Arsene Wenger will have to go if he doesn't strengthen our squad and win something next season.

Wenger leaving would be the worst thing that could happen to arsenal, far worse than fabregas going imo. How any arsenal fan could want him to leave is beyond me

Wenger single-handedly transformed us into one of footballs super powers. I am a die-hard gunner and love the team and the manager, but five years without silverware...? It's not good enough.

Having said that, the day Arsene leaves, is the day Arsenal Football Club is in trouble. Big shoes to fill. Really big. Huge. Enormous.

Five years without silverware as is frustrating of course. You have to look at the bigger picture though. In those years Wenger has turned a profit in the transfer market while United and Chelsea have continued to invest heavily. It's the price we've paid for the emirates, which will guarantee our future at the top of the game far more than a few trophies could.

In more familiar moaning gooner territory we have also been phenomanally unlucky over the last few seasons and this one especially with injuries. People criticise our lack of squad depth and having to use the likes of Silvestre, but he's our fifth choice centre back. United don't even have a fifth choice centre back. No other team has had to contend with having 7 starting lineup players out at the same time. Yet we've still been consistentlymuch better than Spurs and Villa over the years, despite their high spending.

I don't think Wenger has as much of an aversion to spending as is made out, the reality is the stadium debt has meant we've had to have a few years of austerity. Success is ultimately driven by money these days and I'm not sure there's another manager in the world who could have kept us challenging for(admittedly not winning) trophies every season with the budget Wenger's had

well a truly dire game. no real flow to it, only got exciting when Adebayor came on the pitch. big blow losing Given. this game was build as a must win, but I seen it as a bonus game. it still comes down to us needing to win our last 3 and we will be in 4th. granted Villa and Spurs at home won't be easy, but if we do them both we should be fine going to West Ham.

Hibernian 0 Rangers 1 :D :D

Ignoring the rest of your post entirely, Keane totally deserves it. He's our joint top scorer, and added a whole new level to the spl. My mates put on a bet who would score more goals in Keano's time at Celtic, him or Boyd, wasn't much of competition.

Amazing game in store, only 15 minutes to kick off. My prediction is Inter Milan to go through. The score on the night? Don't even want to hazard a guess, but I'll go 2-1 Barca, Messi to score first.

:o It's all gone mad! Red card for Inter after 28 minutes! Ugly scenes at the Nou Camp! Advantage Barca surely!

Wow, what a weird game. Not quite what we were all expecting. 1-0 to Barcelona, despite putting the ball in the net twice. Edge of the seat stuff for the last ten minutes. Bayern Munich for the CL.

That has got to be one of the worst refereed games of all time. The linesman were even pish. Ref ruined the game, and another morinho team time wastes and dives its way through.

I hope bayern pump them in the final.

Mourinho team diving? You've gotta be joking? Barca are a bunch of diving cheats, never a red card, goal was offside. Would have been a travesty if Barca had gone through. The right team won.

Bayern Munich would of destroyed whichever team made it through to the final. I reckon they will pulverise Inter no problem.

I think a lot could depend on whether Ribery's ban is overturned. Without him they're nowhere near as good, and I just can't see where a goal will come from against the best defence in the continent at the moment (unless it's another Robben special of course!).

Based on the assumption that Ribery won't be playing, I'd just about back Inter to beat them.

Im not sticking up for barca, was never a red card agreed. But the goal was onside and you seem to have forgotten the disallowed handball that was ridiculous.

Both teams were apauling, Lucio dived every ten seconds and he's a fucking centre back. They wasted time from the first minute to the last, feining injuries then miraculously recovering. And porto and chelsea were the same under mourinho, dejavu.

p.s not to mention they were boring as feck, where as barca actually attack.

Inter couldn't do much else but defend and try to waste time once they're down to 10 men defending a lead, every other team would have done the same. Agreed the goal ruled out for handball shouldn't have been, but the goal was definitely offside:

In this leg of the semi-final, Inter Milan had nothing to offer as far as attacking options go, except Eto'o. Interesting to hear that the local police tried to arrest Eto'o afterwards. To be honest, the way Barcelona behaved towards Inter was disgusting, setting off fireworks outside hotel rooms and all kinds of pathetic shennanigans like turning sprinklers on etc. Messi played as well as Inter let him.

A few jumbled thoughts for you there...

Something about not paying taxes. Fortunately, Jose was on hand and told the police to go stuff themselves. Good manager, watching out for his players.

I rate Jose, even though he lied to the papers about Reading (my team) after the Cech incident, to try and get sympathy! I think he's one of the top 3 managers in the world.

I know the laws, still pretty sure it wasn't off.

They were defending from the start even before going down to 10 men, and I have no problems with time wasting like keeping it in the corner but repeatedly diving and pretending to be hurt etc is cheating. Not only did barca lose tonight so did football.

And as much as I hate mourinho's guts, he is definately one of the best there is.
