The offending image is one tiny image and one line.



It doesn’t make any comment about this being good or bad.
It’s just saying this is one of many interest things you see on Mulberry Street.

You can just as easily argue that this book is a celebration of diversity.

Yes it uses the word “Chinaman” which is dated... but really still not judgmental. Do not Chinese people sometimes eat with sticks? Is that image not a reasonable copy of traditional Chinese attire.

Is that character (because it’s a cartoon) more offensive than the cartoon images of other people? I mean by itself (if you were psycho) you could argue it is offensive... but stylistically it fits with the other images in the book. This is insane!

Here's (just one) example of President Harris gradually imposing DEI on Americans to seize and redistribute wealth.

-President Trump issued an order titled "Financial Factors in Selecting Plan Investments" which says that employers can only consider pecuniary (financial) factors in selecting investment funds in which their employees' 401(k)s will be invested. In other words, the only consideration should be whether the fund will maximize the value of their employees' retirement accounts. Whether a fund manager is white or black; whether they have sexual intercourse with men or women; can't be a factor, only how well their fund performs.

-On day one, President Harris repealed that order and imposed the Environmental, Social, Governance rule. Under the ESG rule, 401(k) plan administrators should now consider how their investments foster equity. In other words, the growth of retirement accounts is now a secondary criteria; the primary criteria is whether opportunities are redistributed to create the equity image shown in the post above. Even if you end up with less money for retirement, that is justifiable under the ESG rule provided your loss of potential wealth had the effect of ensuring equity by providing opportunities for fund managers (billionaires) who are not white men, versus just fund managers (billionaires) who are white men.

Has anyone suggested that blacks commit crimes at a higher RATE than whites? Could that explain why more blacks get arrested, interact with police, have more deadly and/or negative encounters with police?

In the case of bicycle helmets, has anyone analyzed data to even see if blacks actually violate that law or regulation at higher levels, and hence get citations at a higher rate?

Even in the George Floyd case (which was murder by the police office now on [jury selection phase of] trial, imo , he is shown RESISTING going into the police car. And why was the police there? He was accused or suspected of a crime, as I recall.

From what I have seen, blacks are more likely to resist arrest and show police disrespect. I think that this is not true of ALL blacks, but there is a segment of the population for whom this applies accurately. They embrace the "Gangsta" image and lifestyle. And while I am racial stereotyping, I will suggest that Asian-Americans are more likely to obey police and societal norms, more so that the general white population.

From many of the incident of so-called or alleged "bad police actions" there is the element of crime: Michael Brown, Breonna Taylor, Trayvon Martin, Eric Gardner, and more. As I recall, Breonna Taylor's FORMER boyfriend was suspected of dealing illegal drugs from her home/apartment. That is the reason for the search where she was unfortunately killed when her current boyfriend fired shots at the police.

Whom do people call when there is a public disturbance by a bad guy or bad person? The Social Worker? The mental health expert?
