JP4 will let a typo or misspelled word go by without feeling the need to prove how smart he is by offering a correction.

jimbo,

It is not a mere "typo". There is a major difference between borders and boarders.

Someone told me that you applied to be a boarder with Kim Jong-un and that it was PREDICTED that you would get your hair styled like his. :D

Image

And I do not need to PROVE how smart I am. My life is full, with family, friends, God, and I do lots, including volunteer work. My enjoyment time is not limited to what I do on CC. And I have a satisfying and impactful career. None of that I need to BRAG about, but I am very thankful for all that.

And for KB, all one has to do is to read my profile to see what I have accomplished here on CC. I do not need to BRAG about any of that, either. And you have been here longer nearly 17 years to earn 112 points (net). Well Done.

Anyway, to everyone else, Happy New Year.

Yes… those words do mean quite different things.

Do you actually think HR meant “boarders”? No… he meant “borders”, but he spelled the word incorrectly.

Everyone reading his post KNOWS he meant “borders”.

This is the definition of a typo.

We are writing in a dumb forum on a dumb website. We are not writing a Treaty between Nations, we are not writing the next Great American Novel, we are not even writing a legal contract. It’s just a typo. I would say it’s a mere typo only if pressed… if not pressed I would just call it a typo and not try to modify it with any adjectives.

It’s good that you are trying to be funny. Keep it up. Practice makes perfect!

You state you don’t need to prove how smart you are… yet you continue to attempt to demonstrate your “intelligence” in nearly every post you make. It’s like 90% of your “content” here is some attempt to seem smarht. You then type three sentences bragging about how you don’t brag.

… and the guy whose username is “Just Play For Fun” is making fun of someone else for not winning often enough/not accumulating points?

So are you playing for fun or points? I mean it can be both… but to make fun of someone who obviously doesn’t care about points is kinda hypocritical… NO?

Also… since when is “accumulating points on CC” the same as “accomplishing” something?

I mean yeah, winning is fine and it does demonstrate some strategic thinking, and some effort…. but one can be a consistent loser and also contribute to the community in other ways. NO?

Bitcoin will touch $12,500 and it will touch $21,000 2/1/23 - well we quickly surpassed the high bar, lets see if we crash again in the second half the year
Solana will go below $4, and might die entirely. 2/1/23 - I was wrong here
Inflation rates will go down through most of the year and will spike late in 2023 and will get very high again in 2024.
JBW (Jim Boston's wife) will randomly meet JP4Fun at church and they will hit it off. JBW (Jim Boston's wife) will approach JB about the possibility of plural marriage. JimB and JP will become 'brother husbands' under a woke but fringe LDS church branch

Non Nuclear

The Russian Far East is lightly populated and mineral rich. The Russian army is worn out. Russian economy is contracting. Russian military complex makes shoddy products. Russia has used up any goodwill it had with the world in Ukraine so few would support them. Russia is even having to buy basic arms from North Korea and Iran.

=

Land grab China.

Anything is possible but China is already making bank on cheep Russian coal, oil, natural gas, agricultural products and gold.

Orwell already has.

War is Peace.

In the endless phony war between Eastasia, Eurasia and Oceania, yesterday's brother is today's mortal enemy.

This would be great for psychologists, as you can’t have two people who are more different.

So it would prove nurture trumps nature.

My parents… loving but firm, serious but with a good sense of humor in the exact right moments.
Kind to others initially but unforgiven when provoked.

JP4’s parents… too insecure to have a sense of humor, so none was passed on to their child.
Fearful of their own inadequacies they raised their child in a bubble and brought him up to believe “his shit don’t stink”.
Being brought up in isolation from other children, he never learned to pickup on social cues and has zero ability to detect sarcasm.

He clearly has the right ‘material’ from which to develop high intellect, but it was squandered focusing on the importance of
rote memorization versus true analysis and understanding.

It’s all making sense.

Psychologists would say that this vivid scenario describes jimb's upbringing. He is actually TRYING to transplant that scenario on his favorite target on CC. It does NOT work, as that is SO FAR from the truth of my upbringing.

Now we know that this VIVID description explains jimb's stooopidity and his desire to incessantly insult folks. Thanks for clearing that up, jimb. I will try to be more kind towards you NOW, since you had such a difficult childhood.

I predict a major decline of the US Stock Markets for 2023, of at least 10-15% annually for all three major indices.

Inflation continues to create havoc in the Economy too, which bring on pessimism among stock investors, causing the above predicted decline.

The “wife’s boyfriend” dig has been played out.

I’m glad to see you have more and better material.

It’s also welcome to get digs that are actually funny.
