Now, what if you recently died -- you were on the wrong end of a back-alley murder/rape or whatever -- and there are some questions about an outstanding assignment? If it were possible for your boss to connect with you, would it be appropriate for him to ask you to finish the assignment up?
If your answer is no, would your answer change if it were a really important assignment that might impact quarterly earnings? Or it was a goal the whole team had been working toward?
