I think maybe what is happening is that a lot of people just copied and pasted from the game logs which doesn't neccessarily put the names in order of who was 1st 2nd 3rd ,etc...it just says how many points were lost instead of the actual results...i noticed quite a few people had done that which means that DirtyBirdy may have to go visit each game and get the results himself...I haven't even seen the results of my game posted so perhaps all round one games are not quite done...just a thought...Thank you Dirty Birdy for your efforts and if anyone that reads this realizes that they post results by the copy paste method maybe you could repost with a 1st 2nd,etc. method...DOOMSBURY

no I will get teh tourney going again.... I have been especially busy at home and the office... I am about to move next week so I have had to make adjustments to the amount of time I spend on the site..... I have asked a few friends to help out in the interm so please bare with me..... this whole event is quite an undertaking, everything i do is time consuming.... I don't know if anyone else has ever tried to send out 100 PM's....lol.... not to worry though if the players want to play then we will continue..... I want to kick everyone's ass still so bring it on...

Mostly I do want everyone to know that I appreciate their patience and support with this event.

Anyway, it's been nice arguing with you for awhile, but it kind of gets boring when it seems like talking to a broken record. If you think of something new, perhaps I'll respond. :wink:

But Yet set up new games and played games with you and leave 90+ players without a tourney to finish?

alright dudes and dudettes........... I guess i have pissed everyone off just enough.... the original idea here was to have a great tourney, and it was shaping up that way.... unfortunately for one reason or another i had too amny people drop out... it got to the point that I couldn't keep up with everything... and still keep to the original "idea".

SO.... that being said i would once again be prepared to commit my time and effort to re-organizing this tourney... it would be kept to premium only.....unless someone can convince me otherwise... i am not sending out 100 messages only to get 50 replies saying that games haven't started because some non-prem member just started a 6 player no card game on world 2.1 map....

It would be a total re-start... and I would take responsibility for rounding up players... but again would be asking for everyone to try and find enough "commited" players to make this thing work

I am away this week end, but I will send out some messages to get a feel for peoples responsiveness to this idea.....

I apologize for the fiasco that this has turned into and will do my best to make it up to everyone.

ASK AK ICEMAN the tourney MOD about his "CLAN" buddy...good luck...I wasted 3 rounds last time he bailed...I feel for you...but fool me once............YOU KNOW...lol......Instead of spanking DB First time AK allows second screw up.......................................

I agree that's ALL I ASKED AK Iceman to do was ban DB(his buddy) from hosting a tourney....And they sent the hounds after me...Once again like life...It's not WHAT YOU KNOW BUT WHO YOU KNOW....
