Clyde FC has 5 players now. I will PM the captain to see if he is ok with this.

start?

Postby dcc1220 on Wed Jun 13, 2007 9:47 pm

It looks like every team does have three players. Do we dare start and ask those teams who don't have a fourth to find one soon?

Just a thought.

Finally, I got some kind of a league table up. I know it could look better, but it's a start. First thing to fix is the letters. Other than that what do you guys think should fixed? (It's my first one, and I just found out how to do this stuff)

Regarding the letters, do you mean get rid of the extra "s" in losses? If so, sorry. Otherwise it looks very professional. Well done.

Thanks for the complement. I was talking about bolding the team names, as they didn't come out how i wanted them to look.

EDIT:If you look closely, the letters seem to have some kind of (for lack of a better word) glow around them. It might fix the problem. Ill test it today. And the "s" do have to be fixed too. Thanks for pointing that out.

nicely done.
Im assuming that each win is 3 points, tie is 1 point, and loss is 0?

Yes. I have to add that to the table. With explanations of ties (game not finished after 25 rounds) and -5 for deadbeating out of a game (winner still gets 3 pts.)

2 questions
1. Who is home and who is away?
2. What's a derby? (I know I am a little bit lacking when it comes to sports)

1.The team that is listed first is home.
2. A rivalry between two teams that are usually in the same area. For americans, it's a soccer version of mets vs. yankees.

Ex: North London Derby (Arsenal and Spurs are both in N. London)

It really won't be done each week. I'll probably go on after 4 of the 5 games are finished.
