In all seriousness I think it's too left-right, with not enough islands to bridge the two. I think that if this were to go anywhere you'd have to make use of that storm in the middle.

Every effort should be made to acquire express written consent for a map based on Copyrighted works. In the event that no response is given by the Copyright holders, the map can still be made, but must consist of completely original artwork.

CC's stance on copyright is pretty clear. Follow the steps written in the How to Make a Map thread and you'll be fine.
