I say we have a Revamp Competition for Brazil, and let Oaktown make a Brazil 2.

Extreme Global Warming. Some of those territs TOTALLY look like they connect but in fact don't. Also Ancient Greece has the same problem, Samos->Lydia pops to mind.

Brazil is graphically bad but not confusing the same way.
Reputation cleared. :) Never let it be said that Team CC don't investigate fairly.
Although they take bloody forever to do it...

Ancient greece has been rejected rwice by Mr. K, its off the cards. Asia being on of the maps released with teh site means that I would have to discuss it with lack (not happening since the reaction to classic).

If you want small changes on extreame global warming etc post in the quench thread, whats the point of proposing a map for revamp if you just want so clarity issues changed?

If you think asia looks worst than tarmeal then you need your specs on. Tarmeal is one thats always had my vote for revamp, its just bleh. Africa as well Im not a fan of it.

Brazil may be the way to go with another one soon after this comp!
What do you know about map making, bitch?

Why don't you put the list of maps suggested for revamps up in a poll and let us vote on the one to revamp?

Because I need to get permission for ALL the cartoes of all the maps we put in the polls. Si ill ned to email then wait for replys. Just picking one that seems the most popular means I can send the rest of my time doing something usefull!

Oh, that's pretty important :D

Guess we'll just have to wait for permission...I think it's worth contacting Mr. K again, even though he's rejected revamp attempts in the past.

Remember, minor things can be fixed via TOUCH-UPs. Be careful about running willy-nilly with REVAMPs. :) Many of the maps suggested for REVAMPs I think are fine.

Why would be want to be a revamp a whole map because you cant read army numbers? Something that can simply be touched up.

We wouldn't per se if that were the only issue or if asia actually looked better than it does or if moving numbers in a touch up would be enough. But they aren't. Don't just disagree with me because you don't like to be wrong. Explain why you would disagree if you disagree.

And as a side note, just because a map isn't exactly your visual taste (among other things) doesn't mean it should be REVAMPed. REVAMPs should be reserved for maps that really need it, and not just because "you'd like to see this map look different."

I made Global Warming, and I've been thinking about doing a touchup eventually. Nothing major, just to try and clear some borders up.
Also, how about North America? And like WM said, Tamriel is definitely in need of a rework.

Asia
Ancient Greece
Brazil
Space (the gameplay of which I kinda like, and no one seems to have mentioned)

San Fran is fine, and graphically Europe and North America are fine as well. As far as changing terit names in Europe... well, I just a bit ago had a look at the last couple of pages of the map thread, so suffice it to say that I've already contributed my 2 cents on that topic. 8-)
