Say Bombard or Assault instead of Attack

Postby chapcrap on Sat Oct 22, 2011 12:13 pm

Concise description:
  • In the new clickie maps update it says click to attack even if it a bombardment. I want to change that.

Specifics/Details:
  • When an attacker is going to assault, it should say 'Click to assault' instead of 'Click to attack'
  • When an attacker is going to bombard, it should say 'Click to bombard' instead of 'Click to attack'

How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
  • It will create less confusion.
  • It will make it easier to learn maps.
  • It will be more precise and correct.

Bombarding is attacking.

They are different and distinguished as such on the site.

Bombarding IS attacking... what you want to differentiate is the difference between ASSAULTING and bombarding. Both an assault and a bombardment is an attack.

whatever the wording i support this, as many times on a new map i bombed a terr a few times in a row thinking i could attack it. it would be a great help to differenciate between bombarding and assaulting.

I don't imagine they are going to be interested in changing/coding a command function key. Just use BOB and pay closer attention will likely be CC's answer.
