What made you want to be involed in the Society of Cooks and do you think there is a good way to get more new users involved in it to better user retention?

I ask because when I first signed up and really tried to play, I was confused by how SOC worked and ended up not doing it.

Is the Julian calendar preferable to the Gregorian? If you were to incalculate a few additional days to better match seasons and the year(make football season longer maybe? or extend school holidays). Where would you add those days.
