Seperete Boards for realtime and tournys

Postby HighBorn on Sun Jul 16, 2006 12:01 pm

Ok I know its been mentioned b4 but i did not see it in the to do list.. I think we need to seperate the boards a little maybe a seperate board for either realtime or tournys.. its really hard to get my tournys to fill and keep interest if every day i have to dig them out of the second page..lol.. its great were haveing so many callouts at this sight and i think it would really help to sperate these boards

All hail the mod squad ;)

I second this. Its hard enough trying to bump a tourny without looking like a post whore, it would be much easier for people who dont frequent the forum as often as others. This would be a good change.

I agree, 2 forums would be nice, but 3 forums would be too much.

Mix callouts in with one of the other two.

I don't know how much work it would be for Lack, but would it be possible for realtime callouts, if they did have a seperate forum, to be deleted after a 24 hour period. Then the list would be short and people would know they were posted recently. After the game goes the realtime callout isn't something someone reads anyways. Just a thought.

I would like to see seperate forums too as when you play in tourneys there is too much to go through to find them and see what is going on. I think it is a great idea HB.

another idea would be to combine them but make the tournys into stickys because they are long term compared to real time games. that way they would always be at the top and then the active real time games would be right under that.

There is something being worked on for Real Time games, in the callouts.

And once we get an option for varying turn lengths, there will perhaps be less of a need for a callouts post.
