Just out of curiousity, are you a Native American? It might do the map justice if a Native American had a part in it.

I personally don't like the Google Earth layout. I think the territory lines could be done differently, placed differently, as well as some of the tribes. You would need a really ...

Do you really want me to include them?? Which ones? There's so many... Maybe I should dedicate a map completely to the O'odham?

I absolutely care about NM. I think you should be persistent and keep this going. Sorry I haven't left feedback sooner. Me, I agree with pepperoni (I think) about making a "hole" in the mountains... and... well, if you've seen my other threads, which I think you have... where you have Lincoln, maybe ...

Hi,

It's a creative idea, but in my experience, being a moderator and running a forum, it wouldn't be a good idea to bring any sort of religion or religious aspect into the game. It will almost definitely turn into a bad idea all around, and bring out alot of people that turn this into a really ...

Okay...where do I start...? First of all, I know that none of you know the changes I've made since my last reply, because I haven't posted it yet. I'm not ready to.

Jako: I think you misunderstood my post to misterman. I didn't contradict myself. My mind IS made up on what I meant. I want it to ...

Spockers,

I don't know if you're really serious or not, I honestly can't tell, but Dallas is *not* the capital of Texas.

Anyway, another thought I had is that it may be a good idea to keep the Austin capital bonus because it's going to be pretty difficult to defend. It can be attacked from ...

Austin is the capital of Texas. That's why I included it. It's a good territory on its own, yes I agree. But I think there should be something, because it's an important city.

Thanks, Misterman. I really appreciate your feedback. I understand the territories being harder to defend, but I purposely did it like that. I don't want it to be an easy map, I want it to be a challenge. It's like the world map... I'm playing a game on that map right now, and I'm holding a lot of ...

Ok, here is the update. I tried to take everyone's suggestions into consideration. I made this one a 600 x 600, so I had to decrease the number of territories in order to make the text and circles fit. There are ...

NEW MAP: TEXAS - UPDATE / PAGE 2

Suggestions?
Thinking about changing the text... a few are a little harder to read.

There are now 86 territories. It would be quite a challenge (I think).

I have to agree. This part of the forum is for map development. I have to say, I didn't necessarily like or appreciate the Spockers comment in my other thread, but everyone has their own opinion, so to each his own. Thank you Goz, for coming to my defense. You're right, the Native American theme was ...

I think it's cool to leave it semi-transparent. I don't think it will be as noticeable once it's all mapped. But, I can always make it less transparent. Thanks!

As for the other TX map Widow Makers, I looked it up, and this is what I found.

guys this map is most likely abandoned as there hasn't been any talk on it for over a month and a half.

what if it's not abandoned?

when a map maker does not show up in the forum for over 6 weeks my guess is the ...

All of the cities and towns ...

Thanks for the responses. I'm working on modifying the map. Goz, I like your line ideas. I hope to revise it tonight or tomorrow, and I will post a new version in this topic. Other than that, I posted a 2nd Native American map (called Native Tribes) and it's completely open to suggestions.

Thanks!

List of bonuses is in the bottom right corner. Holding A gives +2, holding B gives +3, etc...

I actually did have the top left and bottom left connected, but for some reason, left it off. As far as connecting lines, I didn't want as many because I think that would make it more difficult to get ...
