how the heck can you do it in one round? the way it SHOULD be done to have maximum effectiveness is auctioning off the territories. it randomly chooses a territory then starts taking bids, once ever player passes back to the current bidder than that bidder wins

you could make the bidding rounds ...

I'm a space cadet from waay back, and this map rocks.
(IMO) By far the best space map i've seen in CC (although i don't mind bloknayrb's idea)

I really hope i get to play on this map. But if i may put my 2cents in:

-Roman Numerals for planets (numbered from the Sun out)
-Asteroids blocking ...

I liked how in the 2010 version you could chose your bonus that way it can match your playing style...

Good point. Maybe you could choose 1 of the bonuses to deploy at the start.

Or possibly, (to combine it with the 'colourless cards' option) you could cash in all 5 cards to get one of the ...

I dig this idea, and I voted yes, but if we're going to mess around with the programming, why not go all the way and implement the money system used in 2210?

(For those of you unfamiliar, in Risk 2210, for every army you receive, you also get one credit worth of money, which you can use to buy ...

True, but it's still a good idea. -and not an exact copy of any of them anyway.

if people surrender in the first three rounds they should lose more points. they could either deadbeat like they would or lose more points so that might help stop the game hopping

This is a good idea for a tweak.

and yes, i think you should lose points regardless of when you surrender (of ...

Not at all. It provides for a middle ground between flexibility and the need for strategy.
You cant really have a middle ground for all maps. if you had 6 forts for doodle earth and 6 for world 2.1. in doodle earth thats bassicly unlimited and world 2.1 thats bassicly just one fort.

When it all ...

[quote="soundout9"]Some if not all of those would be abused and they dont make gameplay as smooth as it could be.

I guess i can imagine that some people would look to abuse such options, but i confess 'how' and 'why' still eludes me.

Point taken tho' - so far as i understand it.

[quote="Fire Mario"]What is the point of Unlimited Adjacent Fortification? It is basically the same as unlimited fortification except it takes longer to move the troops.

I should clarify: i was thinking armies that had been 'fortified' would somehow be locked until next turn.

Actually, i would ...

Disappointed - Why can't we have these?

Rejected Gameplay

1) Auto-Kick When Missed Turns Are Not Consecutive
2) Bring Back 'Surrender' Button
3) Exchange Countries Between Team Mates
4) Flexible Alliance
5) Fortify Through Team Members
6) Trade Cards
7) Unlimited Adjacent Fortification

These options would add a lot to ...
