I've played USA 2.1 with trench enough. I'm not disagreeing with that theory, but did you look at the game he linked? Idiocy at its finest. This is the kind of game were a surrender button would be useful: 13043479 .

8) As with 3,4,5,6 - it's all about variety. Skill levels and requirements differ; I can't see how removing option makes the site more attractive to a wider audience.

IMHO we don't just have to look at numbers but also at trends. The trend started long ago and none of the three owners has been able to reverse it. However, the one that seems to be trying harder is the current owner.

Regarding the volunteer system, don't know how it is now, but to me it looked ...

I also will HIGHLY recommend transforming some of the gameplay of this map by using the new transformations XML options, as well as ...

Just remember Oliver that if you change the game-play it will have to go through game-play all over again.

I think the gameplay is going to need to be played around with anyway. It's been a while since I've played the map on the beta server, but I recall there being a number of gameplay issues ...

I have holidays the 2nd and 3rd week of August, and I plan to create a detailled plan about what to do during those weeks. Until then, I will read the documentation about the new possibilities and assimilate it.

Looks great! Maybe this map had to be delayed all this time in order for all those advances to be available so it can be developed the way it was meant to be. I feel excited! :)

I have no real idea about what it would take, but I don't think coding would be that difficult since bot are already coded.
Basically it is like we put the code from the bot, and give him all neutral, with the bot randomly attacking everyone else than him as he would do.

The best argument would be something on the line of "This feature will be legen... wait for it... dary. Tests need to be done to find the sweet spot for it, but that sweet spot does exist and will no doubt be found in short time, at which point this will become a completely new and killer feature"

I agree with Vrex. This is supposed to be an option. Diluting the option makes it another "me too" option and not worth to be played neither coded.

My alternative proposal it's to make both of them. +1 per 2 homeland territories, and +3 for the whole homeland. So when a player has the full homeland it becomes +6 as it is now, but parcial homelands still provide some income ...
