Why is there a sea connection between Tartary and Cumania? Going by what I see on the map those territories are already connected by land. Perhaps the line is meant to go to Urartu? Unless I'm missing something it doesn't make sense for that connection to be there.

Hey guys, I was playing a game on this map and noticed that for some reason I could not attack from LD2 to Mike. I do, but it seems far more logical to just go for the victory condition than attack a 15 stack every turn just to be able to bombard a territory with who knows how many troops. The fact that the pitchers get autodeploy makes it seem that if you don't take the mound in like the 3rd or 4th turn there ...

The 15 neutral for the pitching mound seems a bit high. I really don't see it being used in the game as it is, maybe something like 10 or 12 would make it more reasonable.

What I really like about this map is how the different themes blend together a little bit. Along that vein I think it would be interesting if you added a newton bonus for the part of seascape outlined in yellow. TBH I thought it was part of newton originally because of the outline. I like this map a lot, one of the better first drafts i've seen ( I lurk a lot lol).

As for the subject matter, if the crusades map was deemed acceptable as well as the Jamaica map, and the New World map, I think this is no worse than those.

However, I've been trying to figure out this small line of text on the bottom left that reads "Galleon Harbour and Morant connect to Port Rupert via the sea". Now, i see the connection lines and assume they connect the "PR docks", which i guess ...
