i've won like 5 out of my 6 games but have only been in a position for a Kill once...then there's another guy on my team with 4 Kills....giving him an advantage in the civil war (assuming canada wins) - i don't think that is very fair, do you?
i'd like some help with all fog gameplay strategies - i seem to get worked in fog games and i think it's because i'm too aggressive. also, i could use some basic pointers for manual deployment games in general.
also looking for some help with a few Conquer Rome games i'm currently playing...

i don't play this game because it is a "war game"; i play it because it is a "strategy game". in many ways life involves risk management and lessons learned in-game can certainly apply to the real world.
i've just posted my first map idea/rough draft in the drafting room and totally agree with 1). i enjoy more complicated gameplay maps once and awhile - but i really do prefer to bust out a few speed games some time during the day and find the smaller, straight-forward maps (like the USA-themed maps ...
i've made a really rough design using GIMP. let me know how you think the gameplay would pan out. personally, i think it'd be great for a 1vs1 or 2vs2 no spoils game.
