Status from the World 2.1 Division. Just FYI my game (finally) ended with myself as the winner. Hopefully the rest of the division wasn't too anxious waiting for us; looking at the other three games some of the game have been over for almost a week! Sorry guys!
Hey everybody! Long-time player, I don't necessarily need general gameplay help. I am, however, trying out for the first time the "Nuclear" spoils option and I am having a difficult time using it in any sort of effective strategic way. I was wondering if anybody could offer any decent tips on how to ...
I've been gone for probably two and a half years (to put that in perspective, Arms Race is the last map I can remember getting quenched for sure before I left), and decided to jump back into things tonight on a whim, and I completely echo Anarkistsdream's sentiments. I'm completely overwhelmed at ...
I like this idea. Only thing is I can see where some people might use this to force others to deadbeat. Say, four are playing. Three want to quit, but the loser says "no", knowing that the others might then deadbeat.
Also, if one or two want to quit and one doesn't, they could threaten with poor ...
It's allowed. As the last post said, it only becomes an issue if one of the people get's their own account and continues to use the shared account. That's a double account and is not allowed.
That would be cool. A bunch of volunteer "staff members" who are deemed reliable enough to be allowed in a usergroup, and anybody who needs a sitter can just approach the group.
What about somehow seperating Speed games from others. Attendance in a regular game and in a Speed game are 2 different things. I think most everyone misses a few casual turns, especially for longer games, but Speed games ... should only be for emergencies or when the CC server goes down.
The easiest way, and seemingly least server intensive, would be to track beginning now and going forward. You could probably do this by looking at the game logs of all games from after the script was installed.
That would be really easy. Have a script check for newly finished games whenever you ...
I think it's fair game (though pretty shitty when it happens to you). Wicked, I agree that a FAQ should be written or the rule clarified one way or the other. It would help a lot to have a specific site-sanctioned place to which I might direct direct a complaining person.
COD4: The single player campaign is one of the greatest for any video game ever. It's absolutely perfect. It could use a 2-player Co-op though. The multiplayer isn't much fun IMO. I don't like the idea that you have to play to unlock guns.
Halo 3: Love it, which is great because I REALLY REALLY ...
I like it, but I don't think enough people would use it to justify adding it to the site. That's especially true since, in theory, you could play this type of fort without the sit adding it. You could easily create a thread in the callout forum detailing your idea and people could just play it ...
Most of the time in higher-ranked team games, those teams have worked together before. It was an intentional decision to join as a team. Whenever you're on the "Join a Game" page and you see a full team of a high-ranks, I wouldn't join unless you have a specific team in mind to face them. To get a ...
