aaah so the "like" is not a comparatitve like but a "same type" like. Thats pretty counter-intuitive, as it uses a more obscure meaning of the word "like", and most of all, it is redundant. Territory borders are either visible borders on the map or are declared (in a positivist sense). Thats what ...
I just finished playing my first game on this map (lost ) and I didnt quite understand what "Ports and boats cannot assault like territories" means. Dunno if that was said before. The legend text should be self-evident, which it isnt (it seems to me). Either im too stupid or it should be clarified ...
ok so there's doors. Dunno, I didnt even see the doors :p. Maybe put arrows to make it clear? Or put roads in the lands that connect them with the doors (to put emphasis on them...)
One thing (dunno if it has been discussed before, too lazy to read the whole thread): How do you attack the castle? There's walls around it (obviously), implying an impassable, but no way to get in, except for bombarding (which doesnt capture the towers). So just from looking at it, I see no way to ...
It's really confusing comparing the old map and the newest revamp version. There's a perfectly nice and good revamp version on page 1 / post 1 in this thread, a version that follows the original shapes. These are well-known and good shapes. Rehauling the map like this seems like a bad idea. No. I ...
This applies when all your games are done. If a reserve has more points then you and you are 2nd, you will move on.
Aaah, thats only logical , although the text shouldnt read "If a reserve wins a game the player they eliminated last will move on." but "If a reserve wins a group the 2nd ranked ...
hiho again, got one lil proposal: Change Emden to Bremerhaven. That way you got an explanation why Bremen is landlocked (which is actually a port city from back in the Hanse days, seatrade was very important for the development of the city) and the territory of Emden streches so far east and north ...
-River through Rheinhessen: I think I've fixed this by extending Heilbronn across the entire northern border of Baden Wurttemburg. I call this a fix because I think it clears up the map, without the river and bridges. As for the small part of this river that formed the northern border of ...
I hated this ever since they limited the log size. But whats even more hateful is that its limited it to a number of lines apparently. Thats no good. Seriously. I just started playing more fog of war games and im really arsed when I want to see what others have attacked and which bonusses they got ...
there are some low hills between dresden and berlin so, in the absence of a swamp symbol, a brown impassable is more appropriate than a blue one for the time being.
Not really, 200m high hills are a really weak argument for a boundary
the new schwerin boundaries don't work, since berlin ...
One question (maybe remark...) remains: what is the dock territory for the sanctuary continent? Is it U'rl or A'lb? Pretty important as when its A'lb, its very hard to defend because of the -10 armies per turn. So basically, it should somehow be more distinct, which of the 2 countries is actually ...
The one thing I might be hesistant to do is make that river through Rheinhessen. Normally on maps, rivers and mountains and other impassables are used to create better gameplay (and in this case preserve it). As CC maps are rarely perfectly accurate, I think the middle section with bridges could ...
another idea: the river between Dresden and Potsdam and Berlin could be replaced by a swamp, which is more realistic (there's no big river at that place...). This can also be done by extending dresden northwards where one can find the "Spreewald", a big swamp in Brandenburg. Awesome for realisim, it ...
