Not sure what you do to resolve this. Scratch may be the simplest. The other teams in Group 1 are probably more qualified to speak than I am as it affects them more.

Its our group chariot..
Its will_mp's team..

or look for another replacement team, but it would take for ages, if they have to play all the rounds, so IMO it would be best just to scratch them..

I agree. It's unfortunate, but they probably won't be the last. In long tournaments there always seems to be quite a few that drop, at least in my experience.

You could change the format and turn it into one simple league with all teams - and we all get to play one another. Just scratch those results for any team that drops out. This way you are covered in future should the same thing happen again.

lol!

yeah kingm when you first changed the format to a 16 team round robin I asked to drop out of your tourney as it wasn't what i signed for! 8 teams per group is 7 rounds which is already quite long, mostly when you have lost almost every game and you have no hope to win the tournament, so 15 rounds was just no way for me.

that's the problem with round robin, losing teams are just playing for nothing.. and you did pt incentives! a GA and games that give tons of unique kills.. so imagine what it would be if there were none. For a tournament organizer I strongly advise not to go for round robin formats, there are ALWAYS dropouts (4 teams per group are ok though)

so will OTP2 replay everything?

It's called Medal Hunters, so even if your team has no chance of winning after a point you can still get some points for your personal medal if you manage to win a game or two.

I'm enjoying it anyway.

I'm really enjoying these games - it's a great idea you came up with. As Dana says, win or lose the tourney we are all increasing our individual tallies for some of the rarer medals so it's all good.

well, I just said that there are some incentives so the problem should be less repetitive in this particular tournament theorically. and you 2 are bad examples, you've won everything as well so far! :D
I actually got all those medals in gold already, i'm improving my quads lol. can't believe i have no team golds! although i'm not very far.

yeah not sure we win our current round... we won 1 are about to lose 1 (that was over since the first turn basically). On the 3rd we are 4vs3 alive since a while but bullshit dice aren't making us look that good, so we might lose our win streak before facing you guys :(
I hope dice turn back again cause that game was really looking ours untill trench+bs dice happened

Same in ours. 1 will be a win but the other 2....no chance. Funnily enough they mirror betiko's games. One was over first round, and the other (despite us going ahead on first turn) now has no way back. 0-6 vs a bonus in trench = screwed.

we haven't. it's 1-1; in the game remaining it's 4vs3 players for us but they are deploying the same quite undecided. It's looking a bit better than when i posted last time cause we were failing absolutely everyting and they had perfect dice everywhere.

we were 4 left right? TNC is going to win and is tofu really going to lose? pretty crazy, this tournament's are the only active games i have at the moment!

from whay I know, you guys have 5/5, it's looking good now for us to get the 5/5 and we are facing each other on round 6.

in the other group it' TNC with a sure 5/5, TOFU is still uncertain to win its last round. in case tofu makes it; tnc and tofu are not facing each other on round 6 like we do, but on the final round 7.

this is for the ga medal, to qualify for the finals all i know is that in our group it will mostly decided on round 6 as well! :)

well I have to say it's not bad news ;)

we are looking good in our last game, so this would mean only 3 teams are still up chasing the GA (pack+tnc+otp). this next round will be quite exciting freak as we face each other! winner will also most probably advance to the final.

by the way freak, looks like the otp2 is facing tnc next round i count on you to motivate them!!! :D

We both will ;)

The format has been changed into : 2 groups of 8, that each will play a RR, and the 4 best teams from each group will advance to the finale, where they would play another RR. The points carry over, but a win in the finale will count double what it did in the 1 round.

oh ok! i didn't think there would be that many games left! I thought just the best of each group would advance. in that case teams with a small ongoing winning strike still have good chances for the GA.

i promised trboye that every time he beat someone he will be allowed to wear dress in public for 3 days... they dont need any additional motivation.
and i cant wait to spank your sorry ass out of winning streak. 5 wins in a row is way too much for you :P
