Why is everyone assuming the remaining anti-town is patient mafia?

Well, I'm not 100% that it is, but there was one kill when there was patient mafia, not 2, and since there was one kill again, it's perfectly feasible that you're the last patient that we (the abusive staff) have to kill

Well personally I found it odd that staff mafia included a recruiter and godfather but we had seen only the death of patient mafia's gf. You're the last patient = good odds you're scum.

Think about it... If a patient mafia recruiter had survived all this time, then we would have hit more patient mafia... only ink out of the last 5 patients killed was mafia.

I've been posting so much in this game that it would have been apparent a long time ago if I was scum. This is my first game, there's no way I could have pulled this off.

Well, since we went this far having a load of patient lynchs/nks, it just means you didn't have time to recruit them. Ink was patient mafia when it was clear you and him were the last patients. Coincidence? Doubt so... As for your argument, classic WIFOM. The very fact you were less high-profile than other players raises your chances of survival already, besides you did a good job of appearing townie... Till it became obvious you were one of the last patients.

I've been giving my tracking actions every night, if you'd just bother to read. The only time I didn't say anything was when I tracked S_L, who died the same night so I didn't get any info. Last night was very weird, like I said I tracked exile, but the only result I got was that he "left his room". My role has been confirmed repeatedly throughout this thread, and while it doesn't completely prove my innocence, it makes it much more likely.

Actually if I recall well you came out with your tracking actions on night 4 only, and didn't say a thing about your previous actions. Then the Exile thing... Since Illy said he got an extra action, it might be possible that he got one too, but to have no clear result about it is not very credible at this point.

What is exile claiming, just a plain staff physician? Almost everyone else had something interesting about him. While he cannot be staff mafia, he could very easily be something else... there were quite a few patient independents, but not nearly as many staff ones so far.

I really don't know what to say regarding this. Who knows how gt set up the game, maybe patients couldn't recruit. 4 patient mafia were found so far, that seems like enough to me.

Exile was investigated town? Are you absolutely sure? That makes no sense... Something may have happened then...? GT's lynch scene for inklosed sounded a little strange, he must have changed something

It seems that the asylum is beginning to get on the same page with a number of things. Lynches are taking less discussion now than before, and people seem to have less dissent with the opinions that were being shared. But what does this mean? Is everyone now playing on the same side...or is there something more sinister in the offing? With things come so near to a close, and with so few people still alive, are there any more tricks waiting to be released?

That's the only explanation I can offer. If exile didn't have a night action the past several nights, and then last night he "left his room," but I couldn't see to where... then something must have happened. but you can't trust me on that, can you?

I assure you, you're making a big mistake! Illiad, don't hammer until I have a chance to prove myself. I'll look back through the 90-page thread, maybe I voted for a patient mafia, or accused them, or something I can link to.

One scummy thing I just noticed, how exile waited until I had a vote on me already before he jumped on the wagon; sounds like he's afraid of sticking his neck out.

yeah... I thought I was done for when both our recruiters, and our killer died. (That's right--both LoVo and neoteny were recruiters, though it didn't say so in their roles.) I was the last one left, and I frankly can't believe I lasted this long. But when I started to realize I was one of the last people standing, I started to get my hopes up--big mistake.

Inkl0sed was recruited as part of all the crazyness after the meds went away. That day that neither of us were allowed to post more than 5... if I posted 5 in a row, I was allowed to recruit. That's why there wasn't a kill the next night.

I thought for sure I had a chance at winning one... the exitement of it all caused me to join several mafias...

actually, I was a jester. And for all I know, ga7 is actually a SK, and you all just lost.

I really want to read the end scene... this is the only mafia I've really enjoyed since I started.

Seasons change, and often the times change with them. As winter began to end around Barrington it seemed as if this horrible time was coming to an end as well. It certainly was not much of a crew left to speak of, as there were only a few staff members and a patient who were still alive when they first day of spring began to break. Furthermore, people could tell they were not quite out of the woods yet, that there was perhaps one more threat to be extinguished before the rest could leave this wretched place, and leave those who would be left to rot within.

Yet despite all of the hardship and negativity people seemed at peace with how things were ending. Ditocoaf was perhaps the most panicked as it seemed that all of the suspicion was place upon him. It perhaps made sense, as the others were all staff, and he was but a patient, but surely at this point of the proceedings, the patient had learned a trick or two in dealing with the staff he so bitterly hated. It was only a fools chance at best, but a chance that could be taken in his eyes, and one that had to be taken if he had any chance at all of making good on his promises made as the snow began to fall.

You see, in the eyes of ditocoaf these fools had no right to live, while his brothers in faith were slain. Though perhaps not the most religious of men in history, for a short time, he had been accepted by a few for the first time in his life. They treated his illness (unlike most of those in the asylum) and treated his emotional wounds as well. And even as they were cruelly taken away from him, he attempted to carry on their good work, even to the point where he could not only have a fools chance. Ironically he wondered if it all had a bit of sense about it, the most foolish of men's wisdom being all he had left, once his faith and his brothers in it had been taken away. He just asked the father for more time, so he could at least bring them all down with him.

However, the actions he had so carefully taken and the plan he had put forth had run out of time. He killed AD in order to he hoped to cast suspicion onto someone else and remove a great threat, but little did he realize he left himself alone, especially once he accused exile. though the others were not certain, they knew he was the one they could trust the least and they began to move in for the kill.

As the final moments passed ditocoaf would only say, over and over again...if only i had had a little more time, i would have done you better father.

And with that...

The final three looked at each other, and realized it was all over. They all seemed to sigh with relief realizing for the first time, in a long time, there was nothing left to fear. Ga7, as one who only had to survive until the end, seemed the most pleased, as his victory depended mostly on his ability to keep himself away from the many who would have attempted to take him down during the long winter.

ga7 -assistant director (staff-betrayer) has won the game under his survival condition.

The other two alive, iliad and exile were a bit more sober in their celebration of the spring. Both of them felt like they had failed as physicians, having not saved more of the patients though they did as well as anyone could be expected. With a silent embrace, both of them looked and realize neither would be the same having experienced what they had. But both knew as men of medicine that they might have the chance to atone for the failures they committed here, and resolved to spend the rest of their lives doing so.

The Town (Both staff and patient players) have won the game...except for Anarkistsdream

Yet it would be impossible for any of them to have won had he not sacrificed himself in order to lead the town to a victory. His spirit crushed when he realized his faith in the director clive had been misplaced, he lived the rest of his life in the asylum as a broken man. Resolved to fight for good rather than taking the choice, and the easier one at that of joining the staff mafia, Anarkistsdream knew he forfeit his chance for victory, but spent his dying days in a quest for redemption.

And with all of this...the snow is melting and spring has come to Barrington Asylum, as the doors finally opened and the living walked outside they stared into the calmness of a new morning, and perhaps a new age as well...

I hate you (Now You shall live in fear while mandy can breath a sigh a rellief because I'll let him live until night 2 ). Great game tonka. I loved the fact that even the town staff didn't know what meds they were handing out to their patients. More twists then in the first game and it was a lot a fun. Just wish I'd lived longer. Oh well, great game anyway. You'll definately have a make anther sometime in the future.
