Yeah, you're right, so the solve shouldn't be that hard. But I have to sleep before I'm gonna make changes, otherwise I'll just make mistakes. Please be patient.impassive wrote:I guess this is because the light ups are done on the 'Players' list, which in 'side stats' mode is hidden and/or covered up by the 'Statistics' list that is below the map otherwise.
Same here.Forza AZ wrote:The new BOB version doesn't load for me. I keeps "processing log".
You work hard at this sher... I'm sure that everyone appreciates it.sherkaner wrote:I have to sleep before I'm gonna make changes, otherwise I'll just make mistakes. Please be patient.
Thanks for the quick update.sherkaner wrote:Updated to 4.10.0, but dinner is ready so no time to comment atm.
I think I know what goes wrong. Probably went wrong in a speed game? Some things are stacking now that didn't stack before, every time a refresh happens..Forza AZ wrote:Thanks for the quick update.
It just makes the games very slow now. I get the report that the script doesn't react each time, after which I have to click continue before I can make my next move.
Use this link:josko.ri wrote:I cant install BOB 4.10.0. when click "update available" then appears window and immediatelly disappears. and last link here is for BOB 4.9.9

i think its because of your computer... there is no way i can open maps with BOB on my work computer even thou i running Linux with 512MB RAM on it and use smallest amount of resources, BOB still requires more(there is no other explanation why its not working)... here at home i have no problems opening any map with BOB, but here i have 3GB RAM on XP...General Flashman wrote:sherkaner wrote:I think I know what goes wrong. I am getting the "unresponsive script" message on almost every medium and large sized maps since upgrading to 4.10.
I am having to open all the games I want to play in in separate tabs so as to avoid the delay at the end of each turn.

Just a FYI I have found on snapshots. Once a day or so I close Firefox normally. That seems to preserve snapshots at least up to that point. If I don't and Firefox or crashes or power goes out unexpectedly (not a rare occurrence around here), I find I lose a chunk of snapshots taken since the last normal close (don't know how many, but a chunk).Squirly wrote:so in normal fashion, all my snapshots have disappeared....AGAIN!
This bullshit happens every other week.
is there a reason for this?
is there a way to prevent this?
thanks, I should have said that I had discussed this w/sherk before and he was pretty sure it wasn't related to a problem w/BOB. I was hoping someone knew what was causing it.impassive wrote:Just a FYI I have found on snapshots. Once a day or so I close Firefox normally. This implies to me it might have more to do with Firefox/GreaseMonkey than with BOB.
I haven't tested this, but think I have observed it accurately. YMMV.
This is Firefox on Ubuntu.
Just click the link in the opening post of this thread, and it should install the latest version. But you installed from an old link then.sheapaul wrote:ok, i couldnt get it to update from 4.9.8
so i uninstalled and reinstalled ... now im stuck on version 4.7.3! ugh
Didn't notice that so far, fixed in the new version.ender516 wrote:The Map Opacity feature broke a couple of updates back. Now you can see a change when clicking from 100% to 90%, but no further changes until you click back around to 100%. So, those values look right, but 80% to 10% all look like 90%.
Hmm, ok that was a tryout, but I guess the host isn't too reliable. I've reverted the change now.adamcs19 wrote:All I get is this error when I try to install.
Error loading dependency http://www.fileden.com/files/2009/6/24/ ... ombard.png
Error! Server Returned : 302: Moved Temporarily
I hope I fixed that now. Stacking doesn't happen any more at least.General Flashman wrote:I am getting the "unresponsive script" message on almost every medium and large sized maps since upgrading to 4.10.

It shouldn't use so many resources, I think we agree there (though for the record, my guess is that it uses around 6 mb per page for me, which is much but shouldn't cause this).. I know it works on a winXP-machine with 1GB RAM, that's my setup normally, I haven't run Ubuntu for a while now so I don't know about linux-versions.freakns wrote: i think its because of your computer... there is no way i can open maps with BOB on my work computer even thou i running Linux with 512MB RAM on it and use smallest amount of resources, BOB still requires more(there is no other explanation why its not working)... here at home i have no problems opening any map with BOB, but here i have 3GB RAM on XP...
i think this version should get some serious upgrading as its just wrong using so many resources...
