that'd be sweet, wearing the hides of defeated foes, so everytime they see your banner, they remember there loss... how primal. even a little barbaric. and very much in the nature of humans.

You will have to get on your knees and beg an Angel for a special banner. But, FYI . . . If you read the previous posts you will see that Zorg asked us all not to post about the banners in here anymore. Sooo, just to let you know (since I dont think you saw that post)... PM ANGEL Coleman and maybe he will do it for you.
Ok, round 2 is now started, games are being made and pms being sent.
Part 1 Round 2:
Story:
The gates coming surprised everyone, but some reacted faster than others. In the initial chaos, elite teams of soldiers were sent out to cause preliminary damage on their enemy counterparts under the leadership of Generals fresh off the ranks. These generals had a chance to prove themselves, some have taken it in their fists, whilst some have fallen to the might of others.
It was the angels who were first to react and in the coming days were able to do far more damage than their enemies. They seemed particuarly intent on Earth and indeed there is little doubt they will not press on against the petty human foes. Already those Angel generals to best prove themselves are coming to the top, despite the success of their army all round, and leaders such as Freyme, Usmuk, or Karlo Veliki are becoming common names among the angel ranks.
Whilst the Angels may be pressing their rapid organisation to win battles their opposites, the Demons, have been oddly withdrawn. They have won some token battles under the Dark Princes Vader_09 and Stinkbom9 however for the most part it would apear like they are on the losing side of the battle. All enemies invading hell remarked on the seeming lack of demon opposition and won against the few against them with ease. However the lack of any large demon force bodes of somethings, what lies in the deep... only time will tell.
Finaly the Humans have been caught between this war. The lands of Earth have been filled with turmoil scince the Gates opened and pandamonium seems to be gripping the world. People are panicing and proclaiming it the end of the world (and quite rightly so). Many have attempted to flee to the few places not inhabited by people, others are taking advantage of the turmoil to steal and loot, yet more are proclaiming the need to join the invaders (some daying demons, the others angels) and these "prophets" seem to be holding large power amongst the crowds of the scared. Despite this the humans have been relativly quick to grab their arms. An expansive infiltration into hell reaped great success and the heroes Reptile, Luckyderus and Fish061 have returned home glorius war captins.
However this war has only just begun. Champions of today may fall and others rise to take their place. All sides ready their full armies and each day the stakes seem to rise. For now however the forces still have a chance to damage each other before such strikes are made impossible. The clouds darken....
Rules:
New this round is the Ranking System. Your Rank is one entirely dependant on your position within your own team, so if everyone on your team is doing well *cough*angels*cough* it will be harder to get a higher rank. At the end of the tournament when awards are given out, your rank and name will be included in your personal prize (everyone gets one for playing, how good it is depends on you). The ranks are as follows:
Games are the same types as last round, you'll be playing at a new location with a new set of players however. The roster is on the first page of the topic, I'll also be sending out pms. The password is the same as last time.
Tip of the Round:
Remember, this is a team game. Even if your playing singles you can still contribute to the team. If you see one team is coming on top in the area your playing make sure they don't win the game, even if it means you lose. The key to victory is teamwork.
Nice setup zorg! The only thing i would say is to change the forificationd to unlimited and that way we wouldn't have games overunning and every one would have a better chance at winning plus adding to a more fun game. But anyways Great job!
Only 3 games really ran into overtime and the wins come more from skill rather than luck of having all the men scattered from the board parked on one location.
LSU Tiger Josh The man, the myth, the legend has returned.
I didn't like the Chained at first, but it does require more skill....so I like it.
My game has lasted long more because of low activity more than it being Chained. But the escalating cards are getting high now, so it shouldn't be long.
The chained cards relate to the fact that you are going into enemy territory with a thrown together force. You just don't have the resources to have unlimited fortifications.
If the situation changes in part 2 then it will probably change .
