I really think this is the shot in the arm this site needs, it would re-vitalize old blood and keep new blood join too. Might see some old veterans re-up if this was in place.
Even if it is a map by map rollout where only things like Clandemonium, World 2.1, Hive, etc that are available at go launch, then slowly update the other ones where it makes sense to have 12 players. Obviously the Feudals, Doodle Earth, Das Schloss just wouldn't work with 12 players.
This would also give the foundry more of a drive to create bigger maps and 2.0 versions of maps like Das Schloss.

Bigger maps aren't happening because it is difficult to cram more territories in the current map image dimensions. Super-sized maps were tried for a while, but there seems to be a moratorium on them. Apparently a lot of people still play on small screens, be they old monitors or new handheld devices.
Than the next suggestion would be to have team assassin and team terminator games. Think how fun that would be 4 trips teams on First Nations am assassin game or even 3 quads
Haveing 12 players opens up the doors for so many new options !!

The suggestions are helpful, but I know I would never be able to tell the difference between green and lime green.
That's why you'd use the color code function and/or avoid 12 player games. Still, I think the green and lime green do not contrast enough. But, I would have to believe 12 acceptable colors could be found.

There's too many big maps already. Any map that won't fit on one screen is more work than play.

Can someone publish a definitive list of what the colours actually are, and how they relate to the letters? I'm struggling with the 4 new ones.
It'd be interesting to see if you increased color codes to allow 2 letter prefixes, how much of a detriment that would have on maps. I assume some maps couldn't handle it for spacing reasons, but then you could use pi and pu for pink and purple, and so on for colors that have the same initial letter. If only!

I would think that that is as simple as adding 1 letter. One map that comes to mind to be an issue would be City Mogul. Having triple digits on that map (which is quite easy) would make any army count 5 digits long (a bit too much)

YA fuckin rush them to do something like this, and it causes problems! Let them take progress slow! And we might not have doubles games starting with 3 players in it instead of 4! We might not have games starting, and the map not being there for use! Lets not forget the fact that the fuckin waiting speed game list isnt refreshing completely as it should!
