It all boils down to the fact that you don't understand what "randomness" means. Read: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Random#Mis ... _fallacies

I'd be happy with a "Last Online" datestamp on their profile. That way, I can at least know if someone is still active.

Re: The Feedback system is even more broken yay!

I got into an arguement with another player because of his random and pointless attacks against me that were costing us both the game. Big surprise the guy got killed and I told him that I disliked his playing style and was putting him on ignore with the full intention of giving him a neg.

So ...

Sample size is too small. Read up on randomness. http://www.random.org is where the site gets it's dice randomness from.

1) You have to use Firefox as your browser. Download it at w

Revolutionary War is a great idea, and I can't believe there isn't already one.

Have you thought of doing one with specific Revolutionary War battles as territories?

Otherwise, the map is too vertical.

No, I think thats a silly idea - but i like your OP's idea...which solve solve your problem anyway becuase you could join only games in which no missed turns are allowed

True, true. I was just thinking out loud. My main suggestion is to allow flexible missed turns. I'd love to only join games ...

Your second post is a horrible idea...

Insightful. Care to explain why?

I thought it was a good idea so that the site could identify deadbeats easier and faster. Once people show they are here to stay, then can play in "regular" games (3 consecutive missed turns).

Until that time, they ...

In addition, this functionality could lead to a rule where new players (with less than 5 finished games under their belt) can ONLY join games with max allowed missed turns=1.

[Rules] Max Allowed Consecutive Missed Turns Setting

I would like to suggest the addition of the following functionality to games:

The ability to create a game with a variable "Maximum Allowed Consecutive Missed Turns" setting. It defaults to 3 (the current # of consecutive missed turns) but could be throttled up or down.

I believe the site would ...

Idiot. Sites don't give away 20 dollars for joining. You can try poker, but then there will be that little Catch where you have to play cash games for many hours to be able to cash out that 20 dollars or get it in the first place, by that time, the 50 dollars you spent to join it will likely be ...

there is also a good detailed map in the "Wicked" book, I am planning to use one of those maps

Beware, the maps in Wicked and Son of a Witch are not accurate maps of Oz. And they will also be copywritten.

Just play with no cards. Essentially, that will have the same effect.

Forgive a newbie, but what is the etiquette for leaving bad feedback for suspected deadbeats? After 3 consecutive missed turns, is it proper to leave bad feedback for a user?

Is there a way to surrender/forfeit a game?

Out of curiosity's sake, is there a way to surrender a game? Doing so would essentially be the same as missing 3 consecutive turns, but could be done immediately.

I could see the benefits if you had something come up "in real life" and wouldn't be around to complete your games. Surrendering would ...
