Lackattack, I do think that a reasonable time limit to the turn once it has been initialized is the right answer.

It would also solve the problem of newbies who don't know that they're holding everyone up when they don't hit "end fortification."

Good trade

Thanks for the updates Lack, the quality started very good and just gets better and better.

4 games is a bummer, but not having to look at a game I've been eliminated from is a good tradeoff.

Show Time Left on My Games Page

I find myself frequently clicking into all of my games to see how much time until the next turn. It would be helpful if I could see the time remaining for each at a glance. I would suggest that you can tuck "Play Order" under "Game Type" to free up the column space.

Private Games & Scoring

the ability to host locked games does enable highly ranked players to play each other, but it also opens up a whole new can of worms, with players rank hunting, and dodging challangers

I think that this could be remedied by tweaking the scoring system to allow a player to pick up more points ...

Variable Round Length

I'm also very supportive of the idea of being able to have rounds last less than 24 hours. I'm finding that some games take 4-5 days to clear out the guys who really just aren't playing, then suddenly leaving those of us really into it playing speed rounds.
