Re: Can Blue Squares win in a build game????

Ok, this might be a better Idea.

These probabilities are from the Wikipedia article on Risk.

3 dice vs. 2 dice, ties to the defender: Attacker wins = 37.17%
Defender Wins = 29.26%
Both Win one = 33.58%

I would want to be the attacker in any battle because of these odds.
Your game has been ...

Re: Can Blue Squares win in a build game????

With a good diplomatic tenderizing get the other players to agree that all should attack one another before the aforementioned conspiracy. You attack both and yellow may have no choice but to attack red on S squares with the mass. If they read this you might be toast but you won't get secret ...

Re: Can Blue Squares win in a build game????

If red goes after South America yellow could follow with his 392 forces leaving cyan in Australia and reducing red and yellow. You are right though Cyan doesn't seem to have enough forces for it. I was trying to get him away from the buildup.

Re: Can Blue Squares win in a build game????

You could sacrifice Europe and take both South America and Australia. You would lose one deployment but you could squish red and yellows main forces together. Winning your game would depend on weather they attacked one another over Europe or not. Leave Europe all ones to instigate the fight over it ...

Community strategy guide/forum?

Can't find the strategy forum.
I think it would be easier to work with a newbie if there was a basic strategy guide that could be referred to. People could post their insights to a forum and selected posts could be transcribed into an easily accessible strategy guide, up at the top, right between ...

Flash Animated Game replays.

I think it would be neat to see our games replayed in flash animation turn by turn. They would be like movies where you could see the colored pieces expand and contract across the maps. It would help players to get what is going on during games. This could be included as a member benefit. :?:

Re: Classic alternatives discussion/suggestions

What if it were possible to organize a deal with Hasbro that allows the use of their map at this site in return for their ability to publish some of the maps here at the conquerclub? One uses trees and the other circuit boards. If possible some of the artists here could have access to getting ...

Re: Classic alternatives discussion/suggestions

Why not switch the sides that the continents are on? Have the PACIFIC ocean in the middle of the map instead of the ATLANTIC.

Network Map

Simple Idea:

Use chained attacks to simulate a computer network for a science fiction map.

The network nodes would be made up of circles at territory border junctions and the borders would be the attacking connection between them. These nodes can be attacked by their connected territories and by ...

Secret Alliance during game 3199348. [noted]

Giroux & subtleknifewield

Checking the past few games with these two they have not attacked each other until the end of the game when it was necessary. During game 3199348 a Captain rank player Giroux eliminated subtleknifewield's target for a 187 point game to subtleknifewield. I feel that Giroux ...
