But M is to big a letter to be used on the codes - as we don't use a fixed width font...

This is one unexpected (to me, that is) consideration. The same must be true of "W" as well, right? Very interesting. Thanks.

For those of you who are asking why we used pink instead of magenta and cyan instead of teal, it was decided by the council early in the debates to use commonly used (though mistaken) colour names. Hence although in reality, the colours are in fact magenta and teal, pink and cyan were to be used as ...

Yahooo for the Col or Committee !

Colour is the correct spelling. The Americans just hashed it up when they stole our language.

That is not the only thing we stole...I think we have your balls too.

Actually as far as I know it's color in Latin. So the English stole color from Latin and made ...

The colors are OK, good job!

But... your PINK is MAGENTA, and your ORAGNE is LIGHT BROWN...

or am I color blind? (no, it's not my display; and not my eyes either).

Don't they teach "colors" in elementary schools anymore? or just (oh, I hate this one) google it, or something. It's like so ...

it's cool, jiminski . I am sure we are on the same page so please do not take my comments as any kind of criticism of you: I was just putting some meat on that bone is all. And I appologize for for misspelling your name earlier (with a "y" at the end, that is---it's motor memory in my fingers: mine ...

Re: racist/abusive language--this guy MUST be expelled!

To Twill:

My bad, Twill: I did have him added to my "ignore" list---he is the first and the only one there---so now I cannot see his posts. I do sincerely apologize for my bitter(?) remarks above!

To jiminsky:
But are you in fact Black Gskur? And if you are how could the offender ...

UPDATE: A WIMPY HALFMEASURE TAKEN (thanks...?)

Now, the website management have REMOVED both of the SaintCrispy's lines quoted above, only my posting remains there.

This is so-o-o-o whimpy! and, oh, is so-o-o-o wrong as well: not only SaintCrispy is not punished for the unacceptably behavior but there is NO EVIDENCE of his/her wrongdoing any ...

racist/abusive language--this guy MUST be expelled! [Closed]

In the Game 1132035, here is the Game Chat contents (so far):

2007-11-02 19:19:42 - SaintCrispy: good luck all
2007-11-02 20:32:16 - gskur: hi all & gl
2007-11-02 21:34:20 - SaintCrispy: shutup nigger

Does this site tolerate open and ridiculously pointless, stupid bigotry?

Fog of War : Game Log problem

Firstly, I fully agree with the problem described in "Fog of War : Country Loss" topic ( http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=30668 ). But there is more!

When a visible to me opponent's country is reenforced from an invisible to me country, the game log lists the ...

reduced functionality of the XML_Reader

Bug: (is it?)
Map XML Reader does not display "connectivity" (on mouseover)

Detailed Description:
I load this page: <http://www.multiblah.com/cc_tester/> first. Then I substitue the desired map name in the cc_tester's input boxes ("Map XML File" and "Map Large Image File") and the map is ...

No, wicked, this is not happening with the feedback score. It is in the game screen, in the table that has columns labeled "Name," "Armies," "Countries," etc. The first column shows names of the players in the game and, in parentheses, the number of cards (presumably). That's where the problem is ...

Thank you, wicked. No wonder I could not make sense out of it: in this game, for example <http://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=164756#gmtop>, I have four (4) cards but show (0)... Hmmm...

I'll report the problem to the webmaster. Thanks again.

What is the "#" in the "name ( # )"?

Does anybody know the meaning of the number in parentheses after the player's name in the game window, like the "2" in "gskur (2)"? Thanks.
