When losing a country with Fog of War on, if the country lost is no longer adjacent to one of your currently owned countries the game log will state "2007-10-24 06:20:47 - <attacker> attacked ? from ? and conquered it from CandaVespin"
Shouldn't this show the country that was lost and from which country it was attacked? As the owner of that country previously, I should know which one was attacked and who attacked it. that doesn't mean other people who are not adjacent to the country should, but I as the owner, and the attacker should both know which was attacked and from where.

don't think it'd work, you can apparently still join games with people on your ignore list, just not the other way around.
well obviously, if this were to become an option, it would be to prevent you from entering the games, so that would have to change...its not like a setting you don't like can join a game you started...
When a visible to me opponent's country is reenforced from an invisible to me country, the game log lists the VISIBLE to me country as "?", not just the one I cannot see---this is very bad indeed. The only reason I noticed this is that I was watching while an opponent was taking his turn...
I looked and could not find... I must be blind or, at the very least, not determined enough, I guess... Can you please give me the post number you have in mind?

How would that work in the game log though, if everyone is reading the same log?

That log will have to only display information to a certian account...
That sounds.... complicated. But I'll let Lack talk to even if that's possible. No matter what we do, it's not going to appease everyone. Some are already calling for less info in the log. Maybe after we've played this game type for awhile, we can see what would work best... maybe even have options in what info is shown in the game log. But for now, it's too new and people are just reacting to the change. Let's play it for awhile and then decide.

agreed it actually is too easy to work out, especially when people start forting
Don't now why people on here don't like being cooks, remember under siege: A former SEAL, now cook, is the only person who can stop a gang of terrorists when they sieze control of a US Navy battleship.

It's not about more info, it's not about less info. The map's representation of the game is perfect. Just make the log match it.
